Review: I hired Trugreen to treat my trees. I have approximately 100 leyland cypress trees. Every summer they need to be sprayed to prevent them from being infested with bag worms. If the trees are infested with bagworms they can die and will need to be replaced. Trugreen came out in late May and treated the trees. They were suppose to come every month to treat the trees. They did not come in June as a result one morning in mid July, July 12, 2013 I came out and saw that my trees were infested with bag worms, they feed on the trees and will kill them. I called Trugreen and said they needed to get some out here immediately. They were rude and said they could not come out until the Wednesday a week later. I told them that would be too late because they trees are being eaten. They were rude and were angry with me. The woman on the phone was grinding her teeth in anger! But at this point I had no other options. So I waited for them to come on Wednesday. Well Wednesday came and no one should up. At this point, I decided that I would need to by my own sprayer and I did it cost me approximately $329. Trugreen did come that Friday and pretended to spray for about 20 minutes, my wife was home watching. They did not spray all the trees, it would take a minimum of at least an hour and a half to spray them all. There is no question they did not spray the trees because they are infested with bag worms and several are endanger of not recovering. I was forced to spray trees at great expense. $329 for the sprayer and an additional $150 for the tree protecting spray. The trees themselves based on the size would cost about $250 each. They have a terrible service and they don't respond to emails and are rude on the phone.Desired Settlement: Trugreen should compensate me for the sprayer $329 and the $150 for the treatment spray. And there are 5 trees that are so badly damaged that they might not recover at $250 each this equals $1250. Again this can not be disputed the trees have bag worms and they can only have bagworms if they have not be treated. I did treat them but that was already after they had been infested. It did help to save most of them, but that was despite trugreens best efforts to cheat me and kill my trees. But I'm kind I will accept the $329 plus the $150 for the chemical treatment I was forced to buy to save the trees.

Returned customers call regarding damage to his leyland cypress. No answer/message was left.

Due to the damage to his leylands we will refund the amount of the last application.

However we are not responsible to cover the cost of customer buying his own equipment.

There is no documention in computer system that the customer called in to support this claim.

We will refund the amount of the last Tree and Shrub visit.

Review: The manager, [redacted], came out and identified a weed I was particularly interested in controlling, and said they could control it. I agreed to treatment. It didn't work. I had them come out again, and this time the agent said it was a weed they could not control, so I did not have then treat it again.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $100.09 paid with American Express.

Upon review of the account, TruGreen issued a refund of $100.09 to the credit card September 5, 2013. Depending upon which financial institution issued the card, the refund should reflect within ten business days. TruGreen apologizes for any frustration or inconvenience.
