In regards to the Revdex.com complaint, It is unfortunate to hear the customer had an unpleasant experience after leaving usWe are a company that prides ourself in our ability to satisfy our customers and have over hand written positive reviews to back that upHowever, this complaint is inaccurately stated and slanderous to our businessIn response to "Once we got it the car did not have agreed completed repairs." Before the BMW was purchased, ***, the gentlemen selling the car walked around the entire vehicle with the customer addressing the requests the customer wanted us to fix with no additional costIt was agreed that we would fix some small rock chips and replace the throttle body, as it was noticed that the throttle body was not as responsive as it should beWe kept the car a couple days extra and performed all agreed onIn response to, "If fact, the car had balled tires" The customer never once mentioned the tire treadThe tires are not “bald” as it had just passed a state inspection that same day the sale was doneIn response to "We notified him and he said to wait a couple of days and warnings would go awayIt did not." [redacted] stated that if the customer was still experiencing issues to bring it in so we could fix the issue at no chargeThe request to let us fix it was ignoredThe customer decided to take the car on a road trip that same weekend to Houston, knowing that it still needed to be fixedWhen he got stuck on the freeway he called [redacted] who answered, on his day off when the dealership was closed, and assisted in giving information for roadside assistance and asked that the customer tow the vehicle to our dealership so we could fix the car right awayAgain, the customer ignored [redacted] and took the car to the BMW dealershipThe customer called [redacted] to let him know that the customer had paid BMW for an inspection and was waiting for their results and had not contacted [redacted] sinceIn response to, "We have owned the car less than week and had not had the time to look into extended warranty coverage." That is untrue [redacted] did indeed look into extended warranties with the customer before he took the car homeHe went through all the Preferred Warranties Incprotection plans and was offered them at costA Federal Buyers Guide and a Waiver of Warranty were both signed [redacted] even went above and beyond to coordinate having the car featured on an ABC TV show to which the customer benefitted over $1,and had the car featured on televisionNeither [redacted] nor Truman Motors received any compensation for this but did it merely to make the customer happyIn response to, "Desired Settlement: We are having BMW of Austin make the necessary repairs which total over $plus the cost of towing and fear sitting on the freeway waiting for a tow truckWe feel that they should help us by offering a partial refund for the cost of the repairs." And in response to,"We also feel that they should have a negative report on file so that other buyers won't experience this situation with them." We were very surprised and disheartened to see this complaint against us the following week Especially on a vehicle that we personally used for months and put over 4,miles of our own without any issuesThe actual cost to repair what was originally needing to be a addresses is Minimal to the astronomical cost BMW is charging the customerA vehicle could have one small issue but when it is driven with that issue, many other parts and functions could be affectedWe have no way of knowing what condition the BMW ended up in after the customer drove it hundreds of miles after being given the opportunity to have it fixed for freeAnd to turn us into the Revdex.com before giving us a chance and then just asking for thousands of dollars, that is slanderous and ridiculously unfairWe please request that the customer retract his statements calling us “shady dealer” and labeling us as a company that is “selling cars with problems” The statements made in the original complaint are not illuminated with the truth, falsified, and go against what we stand for as a companyUntil the statements on this filing are addressed and corrected, Truman Motors is not interested in offering any amount of refund
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:After taking the car for a diagnostic test at the BMW dealership after breaking down, BMW service Manager, [redacted] that if they had done any work on the throttle body, they would have observed the problems with the car as they were very visible [redacted] also stated that the Osensor had been removed She said the warnings that were being shown on the car were not related to the throttle bodyWe told to [redacted] the day we picked up the car and he said it would go away No one said we could not use the car The warning was on the Turbo as they were clogged I have the documents with all the repairs from BMW I didn't put many miles on this car It broke just outside of Luling Yes, we called [redacted] but he was non responsive and we had no idea what to do sitting on the freeway [redacted] at BMW said that Revdex.com could call her about this and she could explain even more why they had to know of these problems and not disclose them Yes, [redacted] mentioned extended warranty, but again we had not had the car long enough I just had purchased insurance on it the day of the photo shoot they mention But having over $in damages to a car is ridiculous I don't feel this was honest or fair in representation of the vehicle and its condition We didn't lift the vehicle up to see the underside or the inside of the tires I will continue to look at how this was handled so inappropriately If they knew about these issues and didn't disclose them, it is wrong and to buy a car and incur these amounts right after acquiring is very wrong I think all should be aware of using this dealer and the risks I would hope they would consider reimbursing us for some of the items if nothing else Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I, [redacted] ( [redacted] 's spouse) was told by [redacted] that the car had been worked on (throttle body) and to expect to receive 'service warnings' from the vehicleThey should however go awayThey did notWe, though were told it might represent a pin hole leak or something but should not be an issue and to bring it back in when we couldWe were never told not to drive the vehicleThe distance driven when the final issue occurred was about the same mileage it would have been to Truman or home from the lot, (Luling) on a SundayWhen asked by the tow service where to take the car, it seemed logical to me to go to the dealership based on what I had just witnessed [redacted] was fantastic through the sales processHe was upfront with me about the need for additional work and work may or may not have occurred at that timeAll I know is when I saw that smoke literally bellowing out of both exhaust pipes, a significant issue was at play and pulled the car over immediately and turned it offThis issue is not with ***, nor Truman Motors reallyThere is a sticker on the window stating 'as is no warranty' for a reason, so I instantly felt I now have a very pricey 'lemon' that I'll deal with for a long timeI do feel however, that the expense of the repair be split or at least be consideredI never once felt that Truman Motors was a 'shady' operationI have no reason to think it nowI think this was an issue that went beyond a throttle bodyFor what it's worth, the car was never aggressively drivenIt was beautiful then and is todayAgain, I will asked for at least a little help on the cost of the repairI'm not referencing the tiresI hope it is something you are willing to consider and for that I thank you Sincerely, [redacted] Regards, [redacted]
Truman Motors stands behind our cars every time we are fairly given the opportunity and we always stand behind our moral decisions. There was absolutely no information withheld about this vehicle from the customerEven if the car needed an Osensor and new turbos as the customer had stated, we would have been happy to fix those issues in-house at no cost to the customer. The customer was informed and communicated to several times to please contact us if there were any issues within a reasonable time and that we would take care of it. Taking it to BMW, telling us BMW inspected the vehicle and that the customer would show us the inspection report (which they did not) and then going strait to Revdex.com and paying BMW astronomical amounts to fix the car is Not giving us a fair chance to make it right. We agree it is wrong to have to deal with the amounts BMW has charged them. However, they chose to take their business to a BMW dealer and now want us to pay for something we have no business engaging in.What the BMW dealer finds or doesn’t find holds no value to us or our dealership after the car has been purchasedOur customers are allowed to have anyone or any place, within Austin, of their choice check out the vehicle before it is purchased. How much BMW prices for their parts and labor and diagnostics also has No comparison to how much it would cost for us to fix the issues.Once the vehicle has been sold we have no way of knowing how someone might treat the vehicle. We did offer to fix the car for the customer, and they denied our assistanceWe specifically told them that we needed to fix the car before they went on their road trip, but instead of bringing it to us they took it somewhere else and wrote a complaint on a public forum to try and tarnish a honest and hard working companyTo address the tire issue again, one does not need to put a car on a car lift to check tire tread, you simply need to look at the tire tread with the car parked normally. The tire tread was not “bald” as it had just passed a state inspection that day and we can show proof of that if needed

In regards to the Revdex.com complaint, It is unfortunate to hear the customer had an unpleasant experience after leaving us. We are a
company that prides ourself in our ability to satisfy our customers and have over 100 hand
written positive reviews to back that up. However, this complaint is...
inaccurately stated and
slanderous to our business. In response to "Once we got it the car did not have agreed completed repairs." Before the BMW was purchased, [redacted], the gentlemen selling the car walked around the entire
vehicle with the customer addressing the requests the customer wanted us to fix with no
additional cost. It was agreed that we would fix some small rock chips and replace the throttle
body, as it was noticed that the throttle body was not as responsive as it should be. We kept the
car a couple days extra and performed all agreed on. In response to, "If fact, the car had 2 balled tires" The customer never once mentioned the tire tread. The tires are not “bald” as it had just passed
a state inspection that same day the sale was done. In response to "We notified him and he said to wait a couple of days and warnings would go
away. It did not." [redacted] stated that if the customer was still experiencing issues to bring it in so we could fix the
issue at no charge. The request to let us fix it was ignored. The customer decided to take the
car on a road trip that same weekend to Houston, knowing that it still needed to be fixed. When
he got stuck on the freeway he called [redacted] who answered, on his day off when the dealership
was closed, and assisted in giving information for roadside assistance and asked that the
customer tow the vehicle to our dealership so we could fix the car right away. Again, the
customer ignored [redacted] and took the car to the BMW dealership. The customer called [redacted] to let him know that the customer had paid BMW for an inspection
and was waiting for their results and had not contacted [redacted] since. In response to, "We have owned the car less than 1 week and had not had the time to look into
extended warranty coverage." That is untrue. [redacted] did indeed look into extended warranties with the customer before he took
the car home. He went through all the Preferred Warranties Inc. protection plans and was
offered them at cost. A Federal Buyers Guide and a Waiver of Warranty were both signed. [redacted] even went above and beyond to coordinate having the car featured on an ABC TV show to
which the customer benefitted over $1,000 and had the car featured on television. Neither [redacted]
nor Truman Motors received any compensation for this but did it merely to make the customer
happy. In response to, "Desired Settlement: We are having BMW of Austin make the necessary repairs
which total over $5000 plus the cost of towing and fear sitting on the freeway waiting for a tow
truck. We feel that they should help us by offering a partial refund for the cost of the repairs." And in response to,"We also feel that they should have a negative report on file so that other
buyers won't experience this situation with them." We were very surprised and disheartened to see this complaint against us the following week.
Especially on a vehicle that we personally used for months and put over 4,000 miles of our own
without any issues. The actual cost to repair what was originally needing to be a addresses is Minimal to the
astronomical cost BMW is charging the customer. A vehicle could have one small issue but
when it is driven with that issue, many other parts and functions could be affected. We have no
way of knowing what condition the BMW ended up in after the customer drove it hundreds of
miles after being given the opportunity to have it fixed for free. And to turn us into the Revdex.com
before giving us a chance and then just asking for thousands of dollars, that is slanderous and
ridiculously unfair. We please request that the customer retract his statements calling us “shady dealer” and
labeling us as a company that is “selling cars with problems” The statements made in the original complaint are not illuminated with the truth, falsified, and go
against what we stand for as a company. Until the false statements on this filing are addressed and corrected, Truman Motors is not
interested in offering any amount of refund.

I am rejecting this response because:After taking the car for a diagnostic test at the BMW dealership after breaking down, BMW service Manager, [redacted] that if they had done any work on the throttle body, they would have observed the problems with the car as they were very visible. [redacted] also stated that the O2 sensor had been removed. She said the warnings that were being shown on the car were not related to the throttle body. We told to [redacted] the day we picked up the car and he said it would go away. No one said we could not use the car. The warning was on the Turbo as they were clogged. I have the documents with all the repairs from BMW. I didn't put many miles on this car. It broke just outside of Luling. Yes, we called [redacted] but he was non responsive and we had no idea what to do sitting on the freeway. [redacted] at BMW said that Revdex.com could call her about this and she could explain even more why they had to know of these problems and not disclose them. Yes, [redacted] mentioned extended warranty, but again we had not had the car long enough. I just had purchased insurance on it the day of the photo shoot they mention. But having over $8000 in damages to a car is ridiculous. I don't feel this was honest or fair in representation of the vehicle and its condition. We didn't lift the vehicle up to see the underside or the inside of the tires. I will continue to look at how this was handled so inappropriately. If they knew about these issues and didn't disclose them, it is wrong and to buy a car and incur these amounts right after acquiring is very wrong. I think all should be aware of using this dealer and the risks. I would hope they would consider reimbursing us for some of the items if nothing else.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I, [redacted] ([redacted]'s spouse) was told by [redacted] that the car had been worked on (throttle body) and to expect to receive 'service warnings' from the vehicle. They should however go away. They did not. We, though were told it might represent a pin hole leak or something but should not be an issue and to bring it back in when we could. We were never told not to drive the vehicle. The distance driven when the final issue occurred was about the same mileage it would have been to Truman or home from the lot, (Luling) on a Sunday. When asked by the tow service where to take the car, it seemed logical to me to go to the dealership based on what I had just witnessed. [redacted] was fantastic through the sales process. He was upfront with me about the need for additional work and work may or may not have occurred at that time. All I know is when I saw that smoke literally bellowing out of both exhaust pipes, a significant issue was at play and pulled the car over immediately and turned it off. This issue is not with [redacted], nor Truman Motors really. There is a sticker on the window stating 'as is no warranty' for a reason, so I instantly felt I now have a very pricey 'lemon' that I'll deal with for a long time. I do feel however, that the expense of the repair be split or at least be considered. I never once felt that Truman Motors was a 'shady' operation. I have no reason to think it now. I think this was an issue that went beyond a throttle body. For what it's worth, the car was never aggressively driven. It was beautiful then and is today. Again, I will asked for at least a little help on the cost of the repair. I'm not referencing the tires.
I hope it is something you are willing to consider and for that I thank you.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
