with us, and as a result I am unable to procure all of the details and facts I would like, in order to make an informed decision. The suggestion of replacing her current vehicle is not an avenue we are willing to explore, as there are many extraneous variables involved with purchasing a vehicle, that are entirely outside the control of Truro Toyota. I want to assure [redacted] that we will thoroughly inspect and maintain any of the outstanding mechanical issues with her Chevrolet Malibu. Looking forward to a timely resolution - all the best,
Good afternoon,It is noted that [redacted]'s disputed amount is $640 -- we will write her a cheque for $965 as this is the average cost to recondition a certified vehicle with Truro Toyota. As the prior resolution was unacceptable to [redacted], we ask that she have the car reconditioned elsewhere. We are not willing to both write a cheque, and fully recondition the car, as this does not account for normal wear and tear that occurs during ownership, and is a reasonable expectation of the cost of ownership with a used vehicle. We have no control over the prior interactions with Truro Toyota as the Service Manager, Used Car Manager, and General Manager have all be replaced since her original dealings with the store. Because of these variables, and in the interest of outstanding customer service, we want to offer her the total cost of a certified reconditioning ($965). In the interest of a timely resolution, if this is acceptable to [redacted] we will write and mail out the cheque today if she can provide her current address.Kind regards,
