I had a trusco residential water softener installed years agoIt carries a year warrantyIt started to leak a week agoAfter two visits by my plumber and numerous unanswered phone calls to trusco we found a hairline crack in the tankWe again tried for three days to get a responce from trusco about them replacing the tank but we were unsuccessful in getting any kind of a responceFinally they sent me an email to quit harassing them.They told me to take the tank apart, remove the resin and valving and pay to ship the tank both waysThey would then decide whether to send me another tankNeedless to say I would have more money in repairs then the tank was worth and no guarantee they would help meIf you buy a softener from them I would caution you on their warranty as it is difficult to adhere toIt is pretty much a buy at your own riskMy plumber told me it was a good unit with no problems but that has not been my experienceI can only tell you how I made out with themI am buying another softener from a different company
