Review: This is the second time that Trustcobank had made an error on my account and I have to suffer. Two weeks ago I went in to deposit a payroll check. The new teller did not post the check which caused my account to overdraft immediately although when I deposited the check I took out money from the same funds since my account only had a $1 in it prior. Although I called trustcobank they told me that unfortunately there isn't anything that they could do although they could see that my account had $1, I was able to withdraw in person from a teller $30 but they $200 check I deposited to do this did not post. The teller stated I would have to wait, this was Christmas Eve. Yesterday, January *, 2014 I went into Trustcobank to withdraw $660 to pay my rent. Upon checking my account this morning I noticed that the $660 was posted once and then still pending for another date causing my account to be overdrafted. I immediately called the bank and spoke to [redacted] the teller who agreed that she remembered me coming in to withdraw the funds as she was the one training the teller who did the withdrawal. [redacted] goes into my account and keeps apologizing saying she sees the error but there isn't anything she can do about it and that [redacted], her manager is with another customer. I explain to [redacted] that I have bills to pay TODAY and not having access to my funds is hindering me from doing this. In the past when I have sought assistance from [redacted] she complained saying I ask too many questions and take up too much of her time. I reminded [redacted] of this as she was privy to that conversation. [redacted] still proceeded to put me on hold stating she had another customer. After being on hold for 25mins the call was then disconnected. I tried calling back several times and the phone continues to wring without an answer. Trustcobank has charged me overdraft fees in the past due to fraudulent error and not reimbursed me for it. I filed several claims and complained to [redacted] and their main Albany branch to no avail.Desired Settlement: I want my over draft fees that I was charged and never reimbursed for in July/August. I want access to my money so that I can just sever ties with Trustcobank. I want the cancellation fee and reinstatement fees that Central Hudson and Verizon FIOS are going to charge me since the funds won't be available in my account to pay these two bills today. I will incur cancellation fees and then reinstatement fees which would all be covered if the funds were available in my account as they should be.
