I’ve waited to the very last possible minute to write back to the Revdex.com, in hopes I would be able to reviewthe information provided to the collection agency for this claim. So far the collection agency you sent usto, has provided the Autobathouse with zero information pertaining to this case. I have called, requested the quote more than once, and still have received nothing. However, even if vie did receivea quote it is clear in our rebuttal we know the damages did not come from the Autobathouse.Remember, your car would not be the only one affected by damages if it went through our tunnel anddried off by attendants at the end of the wash. This is the only damage complaint I’m dealing with. lamvery sorry about the damages to your car, but the Autobathouse did not damage your vehicle and is not responsible for its repair.

The damage to the customer’s window was in the form of a chip, as if it was hit with a screwdriver orsimilar. There were no scratches on her windows. Jewelry such as rings or watches regularly beingworn could not have done this type of damage. The customer stated when she came into theAutoSathouse...

she had “No damages on her vehicle.” In her complaint she goes on to say that the dentin her driver side door that is an inch long “may have been coincidental.” There is absolutely nothing inour carwash tunnel that would cause a dent to her door, and if we did her car would not be the only oneaffected by it. What is very interesting is to the BBS she claims that the damages to her car is worth$815 dollars, however I received a notice on August 19th from a collection agency trying to claimdamages for $2078.64. That is fraud. I’m very sorry about the damages that you have on your vehiclebut the AutoBathouse did not cause then, and is not responsible for their repair.

It clearly states in my complaint why I felt the damages came from this business, and I am not going to revisit the explanation.  The business, based on my observation was negligent with their staff and use of supplies, therefore, causing the damage to my vehicle.  They are not experts in what can cause damage and how, an insurance adjuster looked over the vehicle and confirmed my claims, and said it was consistent with car wash damage.  Byt he way, there were no chips in the glass, they were all scratches!
With regard to the statement about the discrepancy between the $815 I put in my Revdex.com claim, and the amount in the collection claim from my insurance, well, that is easily explained.  First, the $815 was only a phone quote I got from a dealership on my own while at work before I filed a claim through my insurance carrier.  Why would I file a claim if it was within my deductible.  After work I immediately went to the police station, filed a report, and called to file claim with my insurance company.  This was all the same day I went to the business, the day after the incident.  A complete walk around was done of the vehicle, where further damage was found, thus the over $2000 amount.  I had already filed the Revdex.com claim, and was unable to modify that at the time, and since my insurance was handling it, I didn't find it prudent.  This business should be careful to throw around such slanderous words as fraud!
As an side, I did speak to the aleged owner, who promised to refund me my car washes left on my card (approx $55), but, yep, you can guessed, I never received any refund.
My insurance company has been wonderful, and I will let them handle recovering the loss.  I just hope that others steer clear of this business. They were extremely rude and not helpful in any step of the process.
