11/**/at our mail processing center. According to the terms of the offers, requesting the first book starts the order for the series. The offer stated that the first, free, book will be sent, and after that, we send another, approximately every other month, for which the customer will be billed at the price noted. The series continues, uninterrupted, unless we are notified to cancel the series. The first book was sent, and as we did not receive a request to cancel the series, the next books were sent, and *** *** was billed per the offer. We received no communication from *** *** regarding the books shipped to him in April and July We have removed the balance due on his account, and his credit will not be affected. He should ignore any bills that may cross in the mail. We sincerely hope this has explained the situation to his satisfaction, as Reader’s Digest truly values its customers and works hard to keep their trust.
