Today I received a What's for Dinner Book? from Taste of Home. Along with the book was a bill for $27.41. I called the 800 number listed on the bill. The customer service person said I checked off something to say that I wanted to review cookbooks every so many months. I do not remember doing anything of the kind. What could I have checked off and how, email, coupon in the mail? The only paperwork I have ever submitted to them was to subscribe to the Taste of Home magazine and my check for payment would have gone along. I have not subscribed this year to the magazine so I have no idea what is going on. After declining various offers from the customer service rep to pay a lesser amount for the book, she finally said I could have it for free and she would unsubscribe me from this "review cookbook" process, which I never subscribed to in the first place.
