Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Ok I am no lawyer so this may not sound prettyFirst off this conversation (April 2, upon a follow up conversation I had with Mr***, he was provided with the contact information for that DME Supplier He was advised to contact them for any further issues or concerns with the Joystick and wheelchair as they are responsible for any warranty services requested) never happened and even if it did why am I responsible for getting the subcontractor to repair the joy stick as I had contact trusted mobility to repair my wheel chair and they are the ones who I have the work order with saying the joy stick was replaced and comes with a month warrantyWhy would I file a complaint on trusted mobility if I had contacted the other repair place and they did not fix it? They record all conversations so they should be able to supply you with a voice recording where we had this conversation which they cannot as it did not happenThe joy stick locking or locked up was not what I reportedI may have mentioned that it locks up sometimes in the first conversation with them about repairing my wheel chair but not in the conversation after I got it back and noticed the joy stick was defectiveThe problem I reported with the joy stick was that I had noticed that the rubber boot that keeps dirt and water out of the control board was cracked and would let in dirt and water which would cause the control board to eventually quite and need to be replacedBottom line I did not (stating his joystick was not functioning correctly and requested that a technician contact him for assistance) what I said was that the boot was bad and if they would send me a new joy stick I would replace it so a tecdid not have to come out but they had a teccall me and I explained about the cracked boot which at that time I expected them to mail me one which they did not so I called them again about it but nothing happened after thatIf you want I can email you a copy of the work order where it shows that trusted mobility replaced the joy stick not a sub contractor and that it comes with a month warrantyAnd I say again my contract was with trusted mobility to repair the wheel chair so they should be responsible for fixing it

On February 4, 2016 Trusted Mobility Repair sent a technician to Mr. [redacted]'s residence and at that time our Mobility Service Technician replaced Mr. [redacted]'s joystick that was previously on his chair, with a new joystick.  When Mr. [redacted]'s repair intake order was taken 11/7/2015, he was advised that due to Medicare's guidelines on Level of Frequency for E2374 (Joystick), is every 5 years, we would not be able to service his Joystick.  The reason being, the previous Supplier, [redacted] Care received payment for this item, with the initial service date of 8/15/2014 and the last payment [redacted] received was 8/15/15.         Mr. [redacted]'s joystick is still covered under the Manufacturer Warranty.  Patient stated he had made several attempts to contact this company and discovered that location was no longer in business.  Our technician replaced Mr. [redacted]'s non functioning joystick even though we were unable to receive payment to make sure the patient was no longer limited to his mobility.  Trusted Mobility Repair has encountered a few patients from previous suppliers that have gone out of business.  We try to provide quality care and assistance for patients like Mr. [redacted] as well as the several other patients in this same situation. Please contact me should you have any questions, thank you.

Ok I am no lawyer so this may not sound pretty. First off this conversation (April 2, 2016 upon a follow up conversation I had with Mr. [redacted], he was provided with the contact information for that DME Supplier.  He was advised to contact them for any further issues or concerns with the Joystick and wheelchair as they are responsible for any warranty services requested) never happened and even if it did why am I responsible for getting the subcontractor to repair the joy stick as I had contact trusted mobility to repair my wheel chair and they are the ones who I have the work order with saying the joy stick was replaced and comes with a 12 month warranty. Why would I file a complaint on trusted mobility if I had contacted the other repair place and they did not fix it? They record all conversations so they should be able to supply you with a voice recording where we had this conversation which they cannot as it did not happen. The joy stick locking or locked up was not what I reported. I may have mentioned that it locks up sometimes in the first conversation with them about repairing my wheel chair but not in the conversation after I got it back and noticed the joy stick was defective. The problem I reported with the joy stick was that I had noticed that the rubber boot that keeps dirt and water out of the control board was cracked and would let in dirt and water which would cause the control board to eventually quite and need to be replaced. Bottom line I did not (stating his joystick was not functioning correctly and requested that a technician contact him for assistance) what I said was that the boot was bad and if they would send me a new joy stick I would replace it so a tec. did not have to come out but they had a tec. call me and I explained about the cracked boot which at that time I expected them to mail me one which they did not so I called them again about it but nothing happened after that. If you want I can email you a copy of the work order where it shows that trusted mobility replaced the joy stick not a sub contractor and that it comes with a 12 month warranty. And I say again my contract was with trusted mobility to repair the wheel chair so they should be responsible for fixing it.

On 4/6/2016, Mr. [redacted] called in stating his joystick was not functioning correctly and requested that a technician contact him for assistance.  April 8, 2016 we had one of our Technicians contact Mr. [redacted] to troubleshoot the issue at hand with his joystick.     Our technician did...

state that the joystick was locked out, however, was able to unlock it and reprogram it with Mr. [redacted] over the phone.  April 28, 2016 upon checking Mr. [redacted]s eligibility, we found that [redacted], a different DME supplier, replaced and repaired Mr. [redacted]s joystick 8/15/14 - 8/15/15 and billed Medicare for that repair.  April 2, 2016 upon a follow up conversation I had with Mr. [redacted], he was provided with the contact information for that DME Supplier.  He was advised to contact them for any further issues or concerns with the Joystick and wheelchair as they are responsible for any warranty services requested.  At that time, his complaint was considered resolved and closed on 5/2/2016.If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me at anytime.
