Trustpilot has continually shown it is founded on #racketeering
3 years ago I found fake negative reviews on various reviews platforms. It was not the first time my company had come under attack from $multimillion webmarketing / social media / sector domination SEO & PPC group of companies.
I was able to track back the reviews to a competitor including IP address of their VPN between Chiang Mai Thailand and Bridgend Wales.
A few years earlier I had over 30 fake reviews websites and fake comparison website taken down during a period helping victims of the #fieldsdatarecoveryscam
Fields were made to pay me damages by a judge they also had to pay $100,000 to abandon their High Court Injunction against www.data-recovery-blog.com which helped hundreds of victims of Fields Data Recovery / Rapid Data / Fields Associates and other Fields Group member and partner websites.
Fields Group company Action Direct UK were also ordered by the MOJ (Ministry of Justice) to stop doing employment tribunal advice.
Having found the fake negative reviews and getting them removed I made a complaint to Trustpilot about the fake Positive Reviews on Trustpilot - after several months Trustpilot removed 35 fake positive reviews but it revealed a much more serious issue - Trustpilot reviewer profiles for Fields Group websites were hijacked and had fake positive reviews. Trustpilot had not only hijacked fake reviews from other reviews platforms but then could not admit to having scraped them from other reviews collection websites.
This did not explain how the accounts were compromised but confirmed that Trustpilot was not trustworthy.
Despite months of communications Trustpilot could not explain how their “special fraud detection software” worked or was bypassed.
Despite the success of getting fake positive reviews removed more “verified order” were added and organic “unverified / uninvited negative reviews” were removed
This showed up as various practices on around a dozen Fields Group websites on Trustpilot known as Gaming or Cherry Picking
Despite average Trustscores for all Fields websites dropping the websites maintained fake Trustscores by a technique known as Widget Fixing - it took a further 2 years for Trustpilot to take action.
Trustpilots assistance with and support of fraudulent and damaging practices does not just affect consumer decisions, it affects the google star ratings and net promotor scores used by Google Adwords to calculate bid cost for PPC (Pay Per Click)
So Trustpilot damages good companies by artificially enhancing the trustscores of their clients.

What is wrong is Trustpilot compliance has all the information but cannot admit they are complicit with fraudulent reviews.
How can any company share their client details knowing they can be hacked, changed and removed by Trustpilot.
It also revealed that companies paying Trustpilot can invite their clients for reviews but by manipulating the 1/3 rule and cherrypicking they can improve their trustscores.
So Trustpilot Cheif Operating Officer claims Trustpilot has 50% market share which if true is illegal, and if not is more evidence of the deceptive and untrustworthy business practices of Trustpilot.
Any company signing up to Trustpilot is at risk of being tarnished by Trustpilot and its poor sales teams who are more like a mafia #racketeering #hijacking gangsters.
