Trustworthy & Affordable Garbage Service Reviews (1)

Unprofessional CompanyOur service with the company began in June 2007. We paid on time, every time until we moved June 2014. We paid up until July 2014. I call up the company approximately a week before Thanksgiving 2014 for a quote to remove garbage from curb. A few days later a woman called me back, annoyed. Saying her husband passed the house and "has never seen such a load of garbage in his life". I was shocked by that comment because they are a rubbish removal company and I have witnessed larger loads on curb that they collected. I told her I will prepay for the pickup as well. She said her husband would have to look at the load the following week and would call me back. I have still not heard back, despite my messages left. If you look at their mission statement on their website they are being dishonest. Desired SettlementA phone call with quote and removal of garbageBusiness Response We are very proud of our customer service and strive hard to treat all our customers with the upmost respect while providing the best possible service. It is our goal to always live up to our mission statement, (which can be viewed on our web sight). In reviewing this customers statement there are a few discrepancies. She began service with our company on June 6, 2007 and continued service with us through October 14, 2009 at which time services were terminated due to non-payment. The trash container was removed on November 10, 2009The customer called and requested service to start again, which it did on May 18, 2010. The last payment was received on April 1, 2014 for the April - June quarter. When she failed to make the July payment services were terminated on July 16, 2014. We went to remove our container on July 22, 2014 but could not find the container at their residence. On November 19, 2014 the driver on her route called me and stated there was a large dump truck load of rubbish sitting by the road all around our over flowing trash container.(This included several TV's and other household items.) I advised him to leave it where it was because I had not been contacted about removing it.When she called me the next day it was to inquire "why my trash was not picked up?" I explained to her we pick up house hold trash in our container from paying customers. In order to have us remove all the stuff she had piled up by the road we would have to go out to her house, look at what she had and give her an estimate on what it would cost and when we could remove it if we came to an agreement. I told her my husband would look at it next Wednesday her normal trash day, (Because of the distance), and I would call her with the estimate. (It is 46 miles round trip from our office to her house) I did tell her if we ended up in her area we would make a point to look at it sooner. We were in her area that same week so we went by her house to get her estimate done. There was no pile of trash nor our trash container anywhere to be seen. We went down the drive way to the house, (which you can not see from the road) and walked all around the house without any success.I called the customer upon returning to the office but got no answer at the number given to me. I tried numerous times over the next few weeks in an attempt to get my container returned. When I never got an answer I mailed a letter requesting the return of the cart or submit $90 for the cost of the cart. No response has been made. This customer has terminated services with us on two (2)different occasions without even contacting us as to their desires. They simply stopped paying forcing us to stop services for non-payment. This has not left them in the best of standing with our company. At this point it is our desire to get out trash cart returned to us in the same condition it was in when we last saw it, which was unharmed, just slightly used. We feel to provide the quality of service we pride ourselves of having we must be in partnership with our customers; each doing their part. The customers put their container at the road on the requested day, pay their bill in a timely matter, and communicate any changes. We in turn will remove their trash every week on the scheduled day making sure we put the containers back in their proper places, lids closed and no trash left behind in the road or ditch. When we all do our part it is very beneficial for all of us!Consumer Response There are also several discrepancies with your statement. We temporarily moved to Raleigh Sept 2009. We were paid up to date. The garbage can was left there to be picked up by your company. Which it was. There was no trash left out past the time we paid for.We we moved back, in May 2010 I called up the company to start up services again and get a new trash container.Let me state this clearly, every single time I have called this company an answering machine or voicemail picked up, never a person. I did attempt to call the first time, many times, but never got a live person. I prefer talking to people, not machines. When we moved the second time on June 11 2014 we left the trash container at the curb with garbage in it. No trash was left after June 11 2014 because we moved out of state, no one lived there. Again I tried to attempt to reach a live person, I can prove this with cell phone records as well as house phone records. No success again, how unprofessional.First off, if you are going to quote someone, try using truthful quotes. I never said that. I called up before Thanksgiving inquiring about a pickup of some large black construction bags, boxes, TVs, fishtanks, etc. I left a message this time. I did receive a call back, proof they have our contact information. (Still received not 1 call after that initial phone call). Again I will provide cell phone and landline proof no call was made. Perhaps they we calling a wrong number? I have been waiting for a callback and even left another message in December wondering why I never got a reply. How our dump truck sized amount of trash magically disappeared we do not know. We are stumped because we didn't pay or ask anyone to remove it. Amazing! As far as the rubbish container is concerned, it was left by the curb when we moved in June 11 2014. We did not bring it with us several states away. We had to buy garbage cans from [redacted] for our new house. Someone must have stolen it. It was left out at curb for them to pick up. Now that we reported them to Revdex.com they are bitter. Claiming we stole their container is amusing. There are numbers on the container, perhaps they should look for it elsewhere because we do not have it. We did go online and look at mission statement after the one and only phone call was returned in November. My husband and I were shocked because what they claim and how we were treated was complete opposite. My concern now is trying to fi d out who removed the garbage so we can compensate them. Final Business Response 98% of our customers know I drive a garbage truck as well as run the office. We are completely staffed by family members. Obviously I am not in the office during a large potion of the day as I am in a garbage truck. We have voice mail service through [redacted], (not an answer machine, which would be unreliable.) I keep a log of all voice mails received and the actions taken. According to our records we have received 2 voice message from this customer, and on both occasions a return call was made. If other calls were made, she failed to leave a voice message, therefore we have no record of those calls. Even after receiving the letter we mailed, we did not get any response. At this point I am unsure as to what this customer expects from us as a company. Her concerns first appeared to be our failure to remove the rubbish, yet she admitted in her last response that the rubbish was removed, "magically". If her concerns are about the missing trash container; all she had to do was simply called our office and state her trash cart had been stolen from the road side and this matter would have been resolved then and there. As far as we are concerned it is resolved, and her account has a $0 balance.
