I just received the two letters regarding *** ***'s complaint today. I did not receive any emails from the Revdex.com. I would like to respond to let you know of the steps that I have taken throughout this process with her. When they filed their taxes, I informed them that by filing as
an injured spouse, it would give them a better refund but that it can take several months for the IRS to determine the portion of the refund to disperse to the non-injured spouse. Filing in February and getting a refund in May is not unheard of in this situation and I set their expectations accordingly. The IRS also requested additional paperwork, which I met with *** in my office and prepared for her at no additional charge. ***'s father in law contacted me through Facebook regarding her state refund. I gave him the state of Ohio's contact number to check on this. I also informed her father in law that the state refund was released first, therefore it was held by my service bank to pay the tax preparation fees and bank processing fees. These fees are held from whatever refund comes first. *** is contacting the IRS for a state refund and they are giving her the direct deposit information for the federal refund. The direct deposit information is for my service bank, which withholds fees before issuing me a check to print to the client. This federal check has already been printed and dispersed to the client. The IRS has no information regarding state refunds at all. I explained this to her father in law as well. *** has not attempted to contact me since May. My office phone number is shut off in the off season. However, I have a year around cell phone number posted on my office door, which does have voicemail. My office also has a Facebook page, in which customers can send me messages through there as well. This Facebook page also lists both contact numbers for me I'm not sure what number *** is calling, but it's not to me. My office number would ring busy and I have voicemail on my cell phone. ***'s issues are with the time it took to receive her refund and her state refund She is contacting the wrong place regarding the state refund and as I explained to her father in law, that state refund was held to pay her tax preparation fee. I set their expectations on the time frame of a refund by filing as an injured spouse and they still chose to do this. Unfortunately, I have no control on how long the IRS takes to process a return or if they decide they want additional information before making a determination.Thank you,*** ***

No I am sorry nothing has been resolved. I still feel I am entitled to my state tax since child support adjusted it.  Thank you. As far as trutax the never told me their office phone did not work. And [redacted] did not talk to my father in law. She talked to my step mother.
