Half of this is correct, the first driver did cancel last minute and we worked very hard to find her a replacement. The customer service rep she spoke to was one of the owners and was very helpful. He told her we would discount it (not for free) because of her troubles. We process
payments once per week so it can take up to business days to come out of her bank. She contacted customer service and I responded right away and told her it would all be straightened out and we would take care of it once I spoke to her customer service rep but he would not be in until Monday morning. Our email chain is below. We are refunding 50% of what she paid which is more than generous because the move was performed just a little later than the customer had hoped. If you look at the email chain you will see her original contact was responded to within minutes.
