Trade in done due to fact they would not fix the brakes on the first trailer they sold to us. Brakes on this trailer would seize although it was New.We first came to TRX RV on May 26,2011 and found a beautiful trailer we we fell in love with. ( [redacted]) After a few camping trips the brakes on this trailer would seize. [redacted] We took it in for service several times after only owning it for a short time. They failed to fix the problem. [redacted] Now feeling unsafe to travel and having a loan on the trailer. We traded it in for another trailer( A lower end trailer /[redacted] June 8,2012 ) We were told the differnece would be a few thousand dollars. We ended $11,866.00 more than the cost of the first trailer. This included the purchase of another warranty as we were not informed the first one was nontransferable, another documentation fee and enviromental fee. We had asked several times what the new trailer retailed for as it seemed very high in price. [redacted] The now new trailer is falling apart and the water heater has never worked so we have never used it. We now have taken this new trailer in 3 times for repairs only to get it home to find out NOTHING had been repaired. For two years I have been asking question and made several attempt to get something done and gets some answers!!!! I have spoke to the owner ([redacted])several times and he had promised he would do something for us to make it right. Again I get excuses that he cant get into the building to find our paper work. He tells me not to let it go. And to have patience. I have had 2yrs worth of paitence and again without anything rectified. I am now taking it further. [redacted] If they had REPAIRED the brakes on the first trailer the [redacted], we would NOT be having this problem. Bottom Line. We are now taking our trailer to another dealer for repairs. A trailer we purchased New and have used three times.Desired SettlementSeeking the cost of the Second warranty $2,844.00.The cost of the Second Documentation Fee $388.00.The Cost of the seceond Environmental fee $374.00. Times the 6.40% interest rate we have had to pay on this money for two years.
