Brought vehicle in for bumper repair. Was told they needed this for four days. I rented a car for four days. They called me back the next day stating they had to order further parts and would not be able to get them for two weeks. They stated they had to put my bumper back on and to pick up my vehicle. This shop completely wasted my time and schedule. I traveled in from out of the city to have this repair done and took time off work. Only to be told that I would have to come back another time to complete. From what a Concours employee told me is that they over booked work that week as it was after the long weekend and they wanted to push more expensive repairs out first than to fix my lower cost bumper repair. I stated this to the business that they wasted my time and that I had to return the rental only to do this all over again at a later time. I stated if I have to return from out of the city and take more time off work for this repair and have to go through the hassle of renting another car that they better at least compensate me with other incentive to keep my business. I suggested polish my headlights. The management refused this. I ended up taking my vehicle to a real professional and reputable shop in Calgary. When they inspected the vehicle they noticed three things regarding Concours alleged work. One that the bumper was never taken off before as Concours claimed they did. As well Concours missed some hidden damage. My headlight was cracked from the impact. Which would eventually have caused water and failure. I purchased this vehicle new ten years ago and the reputable body shop stated the bumper bolts had no scratch marks or indication that anyone has every taken it off before. The third thing the new shop stated was that they could get any part within 24 hrs of which Concours stated would take two weeks. This other reputable body shop had ordered my parts, painted and installed in two days, bumper cover and headlight. I would not recommend anyone to go to Concours in Calgary, all they care about is money not the customer. Save yourself the headache and waste of time. I would expect more from their management when I escalated my complaint to them, but just received more lies and unprofessionalism.
