they took items out of my box .the items were stolen. they do not know what happened. only took out the new things I sent over and left the used item on the 26th of February 2016, I had sent a large box of items: clothing(new and used) shoes (new and used) toys, tablets, tools. I dropped the package off with a man (didn't state his name) on the 26th and he told me it would take between 15-20 days. I paid $225.00 for it to be sent. I waited on those dates and when they passed * contacted the company. the company said 10 more days because they did not know when the driver would be available. I ended up waiting more than 10 more days. all together it took more that a month and a half. they said they were going to deliver the package to the door of my father in law, they ended up saying that they didn't have route out to his house that he would have to pick it up an hour away from his house. we had to send more money for him to go get the package. he picks the package up and gets home and calls us saying that half the things we sent was not in the box. all of the new clothing , new shoes , new toys, and tablets and tools were missing. the company had opened the box without my permission and stole my items out of it. they took all then new items and left the items that were used. I contacted the company and explained to them what had happened and she wanted to know the quantities of everything. I gave here a ballpark rage because everything was valued at $1000.00 or more. the lady was not professional at all. I have pictures of some of the items to prove that it was in the box. I paid in cash on 2/26/2016 and I have the tracking number it is MEXXXXXXXXXX. I need to know where my items are or I want my money back! this company is not secure at all like they say they are.Desired SettlementI want the company to pay me for the items lost valued at $550.00 and I want a refund of the $225.00 I paid to send the package. Business Response Thank you for taking the time to express with us that our service did not meet our clients' satisfaction. We have investigated this complaint and our receipt for the service has terms and conditions that was signed by the client. When the client sends a package that leaves the USA it has to have all commodities listed for customs to check entering another country. The detailed list of items the client listed were shoes and clothing only, the client claims more items beside the listed ones were missing which we have no record of them listed by the client.Our clients have the option to purchase insurance which covers different amounts of the value you claim for your package, this client purchased insurance that would cover $200.00 value of the package, but as stated on the receipt we will replace the $200.00 insurance value on the entire package, not on partial items that were not listed for customs.We have enclosed a copy of the receipt signed by the client agreeing to the terms and conditions of our service. We also included a copy of the recipient signed proof that they were satisfied when the received the package.the distributor that delivers the package provides home delivery to safe locations only., if the recipients' home address is in an unsafe area they will get the package close to the home and call the recipients to come pick up at the closest sub-drop off station and the recipient agreed to go pick up the package at that location.We have tried to come to an agreement with the client to give a $200.00 credit on the next shipment, which we are not obligated to pay; we are trying to resolve this situation the best way we can but the customer refuse to accept. As I have stated before, we have provided the best service we can according to our terms and conditions signed by the client.Sincerely,Clogal Cargo Courier, LLC/DBA Tu Caja ExpressConsumer Response There was not any discussion of "extra insurance " offered. They also did not disclose to me the information that was just provided to you, to list detailed items. The person I spoke to via Facebook did not tell me what I had to do, just pay and send the package. I have photos as well of the messages from Facebook and the items I sent. I am not satisfied with the company or their response to this .
