Review: "Tu Thien The,Inc.", also identified on the Internet as "The Tu Thien", sold me a phone card. I used the phone card as any other, following voice instructions given via a "PIN number". However, instead of putting the charges for the calls on the card's account, the charges were shunted to the AT&T account of the phone I was using - over $110.00 in all. 6-7 calls to their office resulted in no resolution; 2 different e-mail addresses were given to me, to which I sent all details and documentation. No one has returned my calls; no one has answered my e-mails. No refund has been sent to me. The owner of the company is supposedly a certain [redacted], and he can be seen on YouTube videos.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the full amount stolen from me - $110.88, and I want the activities of the company monitored to ensure no one else is scammed in the same way.

On behalf on Tu Thien The 2 Chieu Inc., I am writting you this email regarding the complaint ID [redacted]. First of all, I would like to specify that our company doing international telecom services. We provided easy access and better rates than the actual telephone service company such as AT&T or T-Mobile. The customer will be using their regular phone line and dial through our local access phone numbers, and then enter the international destination number that they would like to call. This customer stated that AT&T bill them $110.88, we can clearly understand that this customer had not following our company's instruction to dial through our local access; they have been dialing directly using AT&T services not via our company service. We have no responsible toward the customers' mistake.

Second, we are not able to find out this customer information via our system. There are no record showing that this customer have been purchase from us or from a different telecom company. Our company is doing business as "Tu Thien The 2 Chieu Inc.", not "The Tu Thien." Those are different company that have been using our company name. We would need further information to verify such as all the customer phone numbers that have been registered to use our services, the receipt of purchase or the last 4 digit of the credit card that this customer used while purchasing, the bank statement showing the amount that our company had been debit from this customer's bank account, plus the AT&T bill that they have mentioned for further investigation.

Lastly, I would like to confirm that the letter we received on 02/14/14 was the very first letter that we aware of from Revdex.com. We did not aware of any other letter of complaint beside this like you have mentioned in the letter. Please let me know if anything have been changed.

In reply to your message of 2/19/14 re: Complaint #[redacted] versus Tu Thien The Inc.:

please see the attached documents, which we have previously sent you. A copy of the AT&T bill from my place of work is attached. That phone # is ([redacted]. On it, you can clearly read the so-called "pin number" provided to me by Tu Thien The. Of course, it should have nothing to do with my work number, but instead of directly the charges for my calls to the phone card I purchased from them, Tu Thien The directed the charges to my work phone number. Attached also is proof of the purchase of the $20.00 phone card from Tu Thien The. So they cannot "NOT HAVE A RECORD" of my purchase of the phone card, which was done 10/9/13 using my Chase credit card.

Everything is clear, and in black-and-white, except why they pulled the switcheroo and now refuse to remedy the situation.

Again, thank you very much for your assistance in this matter, particularly as there may be many more victims of the same scam (if it were an honest mistake, they would have long ago corrected it).
