I am rejecting this response because: Some large cracks were not filled. I specifically asked for them to be filled. He said he would come to check crack after the initial encounter. He never returned. He has no pictures of the property. None were taken that night. He asked me to give picture of seam that was filled to determine if it was incorrectly done. I am requesting that either he return money or ask another agency assess his work as it is not filled in certain areas at all with large cracks in the middle of the driveway. He said he would return to complete the job so he acknowledged that it wasn't done.

The expansion joint was sealcoatedThis is WATER Based and is 100% acceptableYou don’t crack fill that area, you simply seal over it as was done, so that is a non issue. As for your cracks that you allege were not filled, we will take a ride to obtain the material needed, and I will have someone check them outPossibly as soon as next week. if I happen to see any that are over the 1/4” in diameter that we fill I will address them on an as needed basis

I checked on *** * and cracks are 1/8” below grade which is exactly appropriate for settlingThey cannot be level or the car tires will remove them when you drive on themAdditionally the contract states that ALL Major cracks over 1/2” in width will be filledThe cracks that weren’t filled are
1/8” or lessAll work complied with contract and have numerous Pictures to prove. As for expansion crack it was sealcoated NOT crack filled Once again, this is normalpractice and you can sealmover anything because allsealer is , is a water based productIt doesn’t expand or contractWe don’t crack fillexpansion joints but we always seal themi have numerous pages and pictures which dictate this job was fonecorrectly We don’t have the highest rated Business in NJ for making mistakes and doing this game wrongSorry, but the cracks were filled appropriately and absolutely cannot be filler level because next summer when it gets hot the hot rubber will melt right onto the car tires We purposely allow themto settle 1/to 1/4” in depthA crack will ALWAYS be there unless you get a new DrivewayOur job is to fill it up slightly and hope it prevents further issues Last bit of info- Sealcoating is issued with a one year warranty, but the contracts ALL clsalrly state tthat crack fill has no warranty whatsoever; and she signed off and approved of thisWe did our job correctly
