We just bought a house in the northern suburbs and the bathrooms needed to be updated
So we went to Tub Hub and Tile’s showroom in Skokie.
They did our bathroom and kitchen in our previous house years ago and we were very impressed with their customer service and that it was a One-Stop-Shop
So we called and made an appointment to start the process all over again. Bonnie helped design the two bathrooms and worked very close with us through the whole process
We were able to choose the tile, vanity , granite top and fixtures in the showroom. We scheduled the date Three weeks later,
the crew came early on Monday morning and they were very neat clean and efficient . They used our back entrance and we hardly knew they were there
They finished painting the downstairs bathroom on Saturday and started the second bathroom upstairs on Monday
So were not inconvenienced at all ; always had a bathroom to use
The upstairs bathroom took an additional days because they had to completely gut it and update the plumbing ,electricity and install a fan and vent it out
We are so pleased with their new designs and workmanship.
We have recommended them to our friends and will have Tub Hub do our Kitchen next summer
The tub and tile around the tub were resurfaced changing the color from outdated and ugly to sparkling white , just what I wantedThe entire experience was an A+ , due to Tub-Hub’s proprietary method of GLAZING tubs and tileMy initial call was promptly returned ,the process explained , an estimate given and a date for service made at my convenience, no lengthy waiting periodThey were extremely accommodatingActual service on Monday went off as explained in every way PROFESSIONAL and very CLEANThe results are outstanding ! My outdated and not matching tub and tile were transformed into a uniform transition color in the bright white to medium white family My green tub and tile are now gone forever-----I am so happy ! They look like new and no MESS ! The service was totally professional -----I am amazed with the outcome I believe their work quality is even superior to the last time we used themAll of our rental properties will continue to use Tub-Hub and Tile ---- our properties stretch from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Indianapolis, IndianaThank-you , Frank * Lake Forest, Ill
The place / owner is a jokeSold me on a "new age" system of pouring the tub glaze instead of spraying it, took my money for deposit on (2) tubs to be refinished (basically paid in full upfront for the job) and after weeks of giving me the run around, NEVER completed the first tub beyond sanding it (which needed to be re-done) and gave me every excuse in the book from his tech had he is teeth knocked out / car didn't start / too cold to apply product / another tech ran off with all his tools, and the best was he had a bad back that was awaiting surgery, so he couldn't bend over enough to do the job himself- He had no other options on finishing itWhen asked for money to be refunded, he simply admitted to not having it-
End result, he gave me the product, showed me a self made video of how the demonstrator showed him how to do the application, some dollar store tools and a vote of confidence he had in me to do the job myself!
Turns out, after hiring another outfit, the product is a "do it yourself" kit I could've bought from *** ***STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON-ARTIST!!
My complaint is exactly as the one already listed here I chose this business because it was listed in the paper by Revdex.com It was to re-glaze my bathtub Like the other complaint It was a mess No one came back to fix it I paid up front $ I had other contractors look at the tub and basically walk away They told me to get the guys who did this to fix it I said that they are conmen, holding themselves out as a business without having a clue how to do the work...but taking your money, and won't be back
I had to strip the entire tub myself, then pay more money to get the job done
