Tub Savers and Remodeling class="">RE: BBB Case # [redacted] - [redacted] Response to complaint. Mr. and Ms. [redacted] contacted Tub Savers and Remodeling for a new vanity and countertop to fit in the bathroom to optimize space. On first meeting the [redacted] s bad mouthed everyone that had ever worked in their house to us. This should’ve been our hint to reject work in their house but we thought we could make them happy with our job. Tub Savers and Remodeling subcontracts to a cabinet company and he subtracts to someone that builds countertops. October 9th was the first day of the job at the [redacted] resident. Also we contacted the cabinet builder who also met with the [redacted] s to build a shelf. The information was given to Tub Savers and Remodeling, namely me, [redacted] and also to [redacted] our cabinet contractor. The job did run longer than anticipated due to some changes by the [redacted] s. The height of the counter was not suitable to Ms [redacted] . So [redacted] built a second cabinet to her specifications without charging her for the extra work. A wall shelf was not to her liking so it was stricken from the original invoice at which point $125 was returned to the [redacted] s. The job was completed on October 17th 2014. It took longer than originally quoted because of the customers dissatisfaction of the original product. They happily paid the invoice in it’s entirety without complaint even making jokes and cutting up with [redacted] on Oct 17th. When asked if they were happy with the job they told me yes and when asked if they were dissatisfied with anything the only response was how long it had taken. Since the job, Tub Savers and Remodeling has been harassed incessantly by the [redacted] first by being bath mouthed on Facebook and now through the RevDex.com. Tub Savers and Remodeling is not in the habit of being conned and this job has made us very skeptical of residential jobs. We stand behind our work and our product. We feel that if they had had a problem with the work on this job they should’ve with held pay until the job was done to their satisfaction.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Response to Tub Savers and Remodeling representative (*** ***) message to forgive/settle the complaintMr*** *** neither offered nor mentioned any type of settlement nor apology of regret. Rather than sticking to the subject matter and details of our complaint he chose to discuss details of personal conversations with us which have no bearing on the performance of work for which he verbally contracted for his business to accomplish . This is a prime example of his work ethics, unprofessionalism, and provides an excellent basis for stating that he (acting in the capacity as the representative of Tub Savers and Remodeling) does not possess the technical knowledge nor skills necessary to perform the tasks of remodeling a bathroom to the satisfaction of the average home owner. The refund of $for the wall shelf was because it was not the one we requested. This is another reason why we are not satisfied. His failure to accurately record our desires and relay them to the sub-contractors is why we are not satisfied with the work and did not receive our money's worth. We have yet to be offered any type of settlement. A settlement offer would be welcome
