Review: After seeing a check engine light on the dash board of my Subaru legacy 2.5 GT, I took my vehicle to Central Gas and Auto located at [redacted]. The mechanics had my car for months. They repaired and replaced many different parts, some parts were replaced multiple times due to failure when the car was test driven. When the car was given back to me it had more problems then before. I was told the car would be fixed when I got it back and it wasn't. After taking the car home I still felt like something wasn't right. I proceeded to call Central Gas and Auto the following day to tell them the issues I was having and they told me that the vehicle was fine and that I shouldn't worry. After all the troubles that I had with this shop, I decided to contact [redacted], to schedule an appointment for a diagnostic evaluation to get to the bottom of this issue. Upon arrival at Rye Subaru my vehicle overheated and started smoking. When I pulled into the parking lot a mechanic came to my aid because of all the smoke. He opened the hood of the car and saw that it was overheating and smoking because the mechanic to service the vehicle did not put antifreeze in it. There was also no engine oil. The mechanic began to look further into the hood. When opening the chamber for the turbo fluid, the liquids exploded everywhere which means it was over filled by the previous mechanic. They proceeded to take my car into their shop. When I received the diagnostic for the vehicle, they stated " Check Engine Light, Code retrieved indicate failure of catalytic converter up pipe and catalytic converter temperature sensor< cam gear/cams damage, would need to remove engine short block to diagnose further". After seeing this statement made by Subaru, I am very upset with Central Gas and Auto because my calalytic converter was one of the many parts replaced multiple times so I dont understand why this part would read as failure on the diagnostic machine. I am also questioning why my car had no antifreeze or engine oil and now because of Central Gas and Autos negligence, my engine will need to be replaced. After thousands of dollars and month upon months of waiting, my vehicle is now unable to be driven.Desired Settlement: Since these damages were incurred because of the negligence of Central Gas and Auto, I should be compensated for the expenses, to repair the engine block of my vehicle and all other repairs that were not done correctly.

Central gas and auto is no longer in business. Was sold out since 2010. Customer have wrong information. I contact him. he is going to make a claim again against [redacted] tuckahoe rd. They did the work on his car. you can contact the customer [redacted] .
