Tucker Transmissions

Review: On 12/14/2014, my car went into the shop because the engine was blown. Since I had purchased the car from Tucker Transmission just a few months earlier, I figured he was the best mechanic for the job. Despite the fact I constantly asked for an estimate, I was avoided. I emailed him, called him, and months later, I finally got my car back, with a huge price tag I had to pay without any notice. Now, just under 3 months, I've had to purchase and install an engine mount, and the car is leaking oil and needs to go into the shop again. I don't know where he got the engine he installed, what year it is, or any information. I feel as though as this has been a horrible experience not only buying a car from someone I had thought was reputable, but receiving service from them as well.Desired Settlement: I would like a full return for services rendered, a total of $1,500, or I'd like him to buy the car back from me for the total amount of money I have put into it, a total of $3,500

Review: My complaint is I paid this buisness to rebuild my transmission and work was not done properly never fixed the problem after 5 times of taking it back...Desired Settlement: All I want is my money back I have already got the truck in another shop having transmission rebuilt the mechanic there said the transmission is butchered.

I have taken the truck to another transmission Shop and the mechanic there said the Transmission that Tuckers was suppose to have rebuilt was butchered it had mismatched parts in it and parts in the wrong spot tore up other parts which costed me extra to replace. I feel that Tuckers should have to reimburse me for not doing his job... I took the truck back to him like 5 times and he would not fix it he kept saying it is not the transmission it is electrical, well I am no mechanic but when a vehical will not move that is transmission not electrical...
