What do you call people who make a promise, take your money and do NOT finish the job? MURPHY- James, Miles, JerryThey gave their word and did not complete the job, do NOT let them fool youThey were suppose to do a small job, paid them some cash up front,
“Can you help me out?” they ask*
I thought they could be trustedThat they would take care of it as we shook on itAnd that paper they give as a “contract” - worthlessOn 8/1/18, they dropped some asphalt, broke my gate, said they would fix it all but once they got enough cash...DISAPPEARED!!!

It has now been over a month since MJ Murphy has not returned my phone call or emails in regards to fixing our front steps
They had been very unprofessional (including using intimidation tactics) during the project's completion and continue to do so in their follow throughThey continue to do projects in our neighborhood and therefore drive down our road and directly pass our home multiple times a week since I have asked them to respond to my email
* On March 27, I sent the following email to the owners of MJ Murphy:
Dear James and Miles,
It has been one week since we last spoke and you stopped by our home to speak about the steps not passing inspectionYou have driven past our home multiple times since then, but have not provided a follow up
As I shared with you, we asked a family friend to come by and do us a favor last Monday and use his professional eye (he is a city inspector) to examine the job done
He expressed the following major concerns in ord

On 8/10/I was approached by Men Named Joe and Jerry, They offered to resurface my driveway and install Belgium blocks along side the drivewayfor
I voiced my concerns on resurfacing it, because I am very conscious on gradeI wanted the driveway graded away from the houseThey assured me they would do that and resurfacing would be fine for my drivewaySo I agreed and paid them in cash with a signed contract stating and writing on the contract they would give me a year warrantyAlso on the contract it stated it would be machine rolled to a smooth finishThe job was not machine rolled it was hand rolled, the driveway is not level, humps all they way up and down the driveway, The grade if off, the water flows toward the houseI tried to call Jerry and was told hes in Ireland, I tried to call Joe and his phone is disconnectedI was also told they would seal the driveway after they repair itI still cant get a hold of anyone from the company, Lastly there i
