one of the biggest mistake that we made was hiring tucson awning,the sales person *** kept changing proposals even after we gave a down payment *** would never return our phone calls and when we complained to the office we were told we had to talk to him.he even took bad measurements.we later found out that *** was the bosses son so I guess that gave him freedom to do whatever he wanted to..take our advice and go elsewhere.that's what we should have done...

We have noticed that *** and *** has left a negative review. The ***'s were working with *** our salesman. *** also installs. The ***'s called one day 3 times. We continued to tell them that *** was in the field and would return their call the next day. On the third call that day they became irate with my office girl. She tried to explain to them that she had sent the message to *** but it would be the following day that he would return their call. This was not good enough for them. They then continued to use foul language towards her, then wanted to talk to the manager. This is where I came into the problem. I spoke to Mrs. several times. I told her I would do some research on her order and would call her back. The ***'s agreed on part of the order which was retractable shades. This was the order they put the deposit down on. They then wanted hurricane shutters installed...in Arizona. They had a company in Florida that they had worked with in the past. There was some confusion with this, *** was speaking to one company and the ***'s were speaking to the company they used prior. While going over the paperwork I discovered this and explained to Mrs. that since they weren't talking to the same company is why the cost of the shutters were different. I then told her she could order the shutter directly and we could install them. This way they would not have to pay our mark up. Mrs. was very happy at this point and ask that I quote her a cost of install. The Zip Track shades that the ***'s ordered are custom fabricated and non-refundable once the factory starts fabrication. The Zip Track shades arrived and I called Mrs. to schedule a time for install. At this point they said they had our 10% discount mailer card and wanted to know what their total would be. That mailer came out approximately 3 days before this phone call. I explained that they contracted before the promotion came out and we had already applied a 5% military discount. However I would go ahead and honor the 10% since it was more then the military discount. But we couldn't do both. This is were they became irate with me and Mr. became very vulgar. After a lot of screaming and using foul language towards me they said they were canceling the order. I tried to explain that the shade were here and they are custom shades and there was no refund. Mr. said FYou I'll dispute the credit card charge. He did. Tucson Awning & Screen won the dispute and the money was re-deposited in our account. The ***'s then called and wanted to go forward with the order. Because of the way the ***'s acted and the fact that they were trying to stick Tucson Awning & Screen with their shades we opted out of the install. We knew it would be hard for the ***'s to find a company who would install another companies product, we reduced the shades to almost cost. There for leaving approximately 2,000.00 plus for them to work with. Instead of hiring a company who has experience with these shades they hired a remodeling handyman. His name was ***. We told *** when he picked the ***'s shades up that he could go online or youtube and watch videos on the install. We also told him if he had any questions he could call. *** continued to have problems with the install. My guys go to installment classes to learn how to install these shades. When *** was unable to install them, I allowed my lead installer to work under ***'s company and help install the shades. One of the motors on the shades didn't work properly. I took a motor from my stock and exchanged it. Normally we have to send the bad motor back and wait for the new one. The ***'s continued to call the office just to tell me how unhappy they are and how horrible *** was. It was border line harassment. I did everything I could do for the ***'s and couldn't make them happy. They are very pushy and demanding people. We feel that their review is incorrect and based on untruthfulness. We would like it to be removed. I do have all of the documentation on the dispute, and all our dealings with the ***'s, I am happy to forward if needed. Tucson Awning & Screen has always stood behind our work and we always strive to do the best we can with our customers. There just wasn't a way to please the ***'s. As always we appreciate your time.
