The guys who came to our house, [redacted] and [redacted] arrived on time, worked diligently and efficiently, were personable and respectful, and were honest (they stopped for lunch and deducted it from the bill)They were also willing to go pick up a new piece of furniture from a store after they moved our existing furnitureNo complaints, nice guys, and I'd use them again

I just moved this past Saturday 7/09/Excellent Service! I spoke directly to [redacted] (The manager) weeks prior to the move and set up a day and timeHis team arrived minutes prior the set up time(They had called me a half an hour before to let me know they were on they way) The guys were very careful, clean and quickEverything arrived to the new house perfect and on timeWhen they were done, Great service and definitely a company in Tucson worth recommending ! Tucson Moving Service were greatThey were friendly and handled everything with great skill and efficiencyEven though it was their last move of the day, they acted like it was their first! men and a truck were at my house at 2pm and moved my bdrom house into storage in a quick hurryThey worked so fast and also had a great attitude about itThe guys were kind and concerned about my situationI can't say enough good things about my experience They were so nice and polite tooI would recommend!

While our overall moving experience was alright, it was a tumbling experience in terms of information and transparencyWhen calling Tucson Moving Service we were asked the usual information and then discussed ratesThey let us know their rate, which is charged hourlyAt this point, they let us know they also offered additional services in case we weren't fully packed when they arrivedThese services included packing, boxing, etcEven though we wouldn't needed this service we asked how much this would cost which they replied "It's one flat rateIt doesn't matter what we do, we just charge one flat rate for the time."
On moving day, the movers were an hour latewhich they did call us to let us know they were having problems with the truckThey ended up finding another truck to use and arrived at our homeWhen they arrived they let us know of some charges: A truck fee, a fee from their shop to our home, a fee for any shrink wrap they needed to use, and a fee to box anything (okay)They then asked if we were aware of these charges to which we replied "No." When we called we weren't told about any of these fees, in fact he kept stressing the flat, hourly rate when I asked about any other fees/charges for other servicesSo imagine our surprise when we find out that we're out hundreds of dollars the moment they arrive on our doorstep!
I immediately called their manager wherein he told me he could ask his guys to leave, but could remove the trip fee because of the miscommunicationIf we weren't in a bind for moving on that day we would've asked them to leaveThe driver was apologetic and the two men proceeded to workHalfway through, they said they weren't sure if our stuff would fit on the truck and they would need to make two tripsThis is the same "replacement" truck they had to use because their other truck was brokeNot only that, we were told we would need to pay the trip fee if this was the caseUm, your truck your problemNonetheless they ended up making it in one trip
When it was time to pay, we tried to use our credit card and they said it would be ANOTHER charge to use our credit card, so we had to drive to the bank and get cashPlease note, when we called and made the reservation they took our credit card number but apparently it was for no reason at all because the mover stated they couldn't just charge the card on file : / I have changed my credit card information just in case
Our house was fully packed when they arrived and my husband ended up helping where he could because the movers were not the fastestThey arrived at 9:a.mand finished around p.mOur home was 3bd and 2,sq ft
While we wouldn't say avoid them completely, make sure they are upfront about all information and even require they come to your home to give you an estimate beforehand (although we have used several other moving companies who did not come to our home beforehand and did not have these same issues)Personally, we wouldn't use them again and have already saved one coworker from making the same mistake

I had a move that I scheduled last minute and Tucson Moving Service were able to accommodate me in a short notice
They came in prepared and had everything I needed on their trucks and everything went smooth and quick

I have to be fair and start by saying that I had spoken with a person named "Guy" and he shared with me that I should be careful with other companies because they were not honest and he kept saying negative things about his competitorsI also was impressed by accommodating me within a few days...that's where it ended I asked him for a ball park figure for a bedroom home which included washer, dryer and fridge and some outdoor furniture, he could not commit although he kept referencing how many moves and years of experience he and the companyhadWhen I asked for hidden costs on top of the quotes he gave me, he said it was a flat rateHe stated he would sent menDay of move, gentlemen show up late and the nightmare startsI called Guy and said he would send guysAs soon as the gentlemen entered, one of them asked me for my credit card, I stated I had already given it to Guy, he said he needed it again,that the first one was to reserve the truck, I said well it still on file, he still wanted it, he then lines up the card and uses a pen to trace my name and numbers onto one of those old forms when caredit cards were still a new itemThe gentleman then has me sign an agreement that states that they are not responsible for the cost of damaged items and that if they use shrink wrap which they did, it would cost me depending how much they use I never asked for a box (my stuff was packed)and yet was charged for oneWhen I talked with Guy about all these charges he got upset and kept telling me to listen and that I was the one upset and that I couldn't have the work done for free, I was not upset merely stating what I found to be happening was what he exactly warned me about other companiesHe got so upset he told he could have his guys out of thereI shared that I was at his mercy since we had made arrangements for the move that day and that they had already packed some stuff, he said I can have them unpack and out of ther but I'll still charge youI asked what 20% gas charge was because it didn't make sense, and that I was making all this up, he hung up on me The movers were nice and kept telling me they were there to help meAfter a while one of them comes in and tells me Guy said that if I came up with cash it would be cheaperI said noThey were to follow me to a storage facility miles from my home and they got lostmiles awayFinally when I saw them they passed by the facility and had to come backMy move was not completed because I was already above what I had been quotedAlthough Shawn and *** were nice, they did not utilize the space right, I still needed another unit but the second day I continued moving, my mover packed more stuff in although the movers said not another thing could go, they did make good use of empty spaceLong story is that I would not recommend this company to anyone, I still need to move out of a storage facility when my house is ready but will not be using this companyI also have two different friends needing to move later and they told me to share how it went with this company so they could use them if I liked them but I will not due to how Guy treated meI do not believe that as angry the company representative can be they should disrespect or hang up on customers and he did

These two guys were awesome (*** & *** On time, Quick, professional, politeI would certainly recommend and use them again
They moved me from a bedroom on the third floor to a two bedroom a few miles awayWhat would have taken me and some friends all day, only took them less than hours

I called Tucson Moving Service for a local move from my apartment to my current home in marana. i'm glad I called them and took the time to hear what they had to say about the moving process. the tips were very useful and helpful.
