Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
I did speak to the district manager of *** that represents Country Rentals area in Hanson MaUnfortunately the trailer I rented is (not) a *** brand trailer but a commercial type owned by Country Rentals themselvesThe *** manager would have made this case stronger he said if was owned by ***. I'll just copy and paste most of my last email to make the issues simple and you can send it to them.Starting below: Being a walk through the door new customerI would of expect everyone from Country Rentals being knowledged trailer/installation expertsAlso helpful to new customersEspecially when concerning safety And inspect their employees installation before the customer departure. Now main issue here, never received a typical (part) invoice to sign off on his polices and no contract Nothing to read any fine print or Mastate law Was never given oneNo invoice at allHe gave me the invoice from the last customer explained below They sent me out the door quickly on a busy Sunday morning around 10am. His employee installed and hooked up his trailer to my incompatible hitch on 7/16/around 10amHe put the ring 6" ring on a 2" ballHe put the safety chains on Plugged the trailer lights inThey did the whole installationBeing a new customer would think he's a expert what he doesHis employee said your all set to drive away Even the owner was back there next to his employee. If they said I had the wrong hitch, I would of bought the correct one then that morningI would of never towed that trailer if I knew it was incompatibleBasically putting my life and everyone in traffic in danger towing over 14,lbsAbout hours of driving. The next morning the trailer poped off the hitch loading the *** causing over $in damage to my truckTrailer could of killed someone on the road and could of been a very serious issueReturned to Country Rentals the next and a morning and a more experienced tech noticed the wrong hitch. Talked with owner and said it was my fault (his) employee installed the trailer on the wrong hitchThey are supposed to be trained expertsI'm the customer. Was never even given instructions for the *** operation as wellThe previous renter showed me how to use it unfortunately when I picked it upNot the rental companyOr instruction how to chain the *** downHad to call them about the chains. Who would rent you 10's of thousands of dollars of equipment without basic instructions They must assume everyone one that rents equipment has hydraulics licence/any special equipment licenceAnd sends them out the door with no questions askedI have seen a company called *** rentals in Halifax Ma They make you take a safety test through the state of Massachusetts for a fee of $Before you rent any ***/skidsteer. Was never given a invoice from the owner at Country Rentals with my name in it The invoice was the previous customer (never was given one myself) that rented the *** before me and to pick it up to get a "great deal" If I picked it up for country rentals to save them timeAttached to this email. I will include photo of his invoice from previous *** renter Also a photo of installation, damage estimate for my truck. Appreciate your responseThis rental company is a *** neighborhood outletAny employee renting a trailer should follow *** guidelines Right now speaking to the main corporate services (***) about employees that are supposed to be experienced or trained to hook up trailers to a typical walk through the door new customer. I will hear back from the main office in or business days and can attach their responseThey are going to call this business at Country Rentals in HansonMa durring that time. 2nd and main issues here, never received a typical (part) invoice to sign offNO CONTACTNothing to read any fine print or law Was never given oneNo invoice at allNo optional insurance like any *** center would doWas sent out the door quickly on a busy Sunday morning around 10am 7/16/17. 3rd was never even given instructions for the *** operation as wellThe previous renter showed me how to use itNot the rental company or safety. Was given a invoice from the previous customer that rented the *** before me and pick it up to get a "great deal" If I picked it up for country rentals to save them timeAttached to this email. I will include photo of his invoice from previous *** renter If you want to wait a few days to what *** (formal) policies and regulations areI would appreciate that as Country Rentals represents the *** company and brand.
