I understand the process and the feesThe problem is I incurred more expense and waiting because your employee dropped the ball in having the foundation inspection done firstWe had made our concern for the foundation known up frontYour employee had us take pictures of the foundation and said he would have a friend do the report based on those picturesWe continued on after that with the understanding that we had met the criteria of the loanThen we noticed a $charge for a foundation inspection on our loan disclosure and questioned why would owe this much for us taking pictures and someone typing a reportAt that point another inspection was orderedWe never would have proceeded or incurred the expense of an appraisal, re-appraisal or costs to meet the requirements of the appraisal if the foundation inspection had been done firstNot to mention waiting months while putting off other financial needs to accomplish this loan. This was very unprofessional and possibly fraudulent behavior.

I have not received and contact from Sagamore Sagamore never sent a statement or letter requesting this paymentMy first payment was made to *** as per a letter and statement from ***It is clear that both companies have made complete mistakes Sagamore for requesting my payment months later without notifying not me and *** for sending the payment .

I am very sorry your loan did not work out as expected. We make no money when a loan does not close. We actually incur production costs that are never recouped when a loan does not close. Outside vendors perform the property inspections and charge fees for doing so and we have no say in the results...

The costs associated with seeking a mortgage loan, such as appraisal which includes property inspections and assessment of functionality, safety and soundness of the structure are not uncommon at all and do not guarantee an approval. These inspections make sure that the property is safe and will not cost the perspective homeowner harm or excessive cost years down the road.
