Don't buy if you like clean water
I have a weekly service and the water is always murky. I have even switched cleaning companies, but the same problem persists. Also, the top doesn't seal well and I have had to replace lid parts multiple times. The gfi that it is plugged into "trips" all the time and the water is cold when I want to use it. I should have bought a better brand!

Low maintenance, great cover
Best hot tub we’ve ever owned. The cover is amazing and theres very little maintenance. Had a minor problem but the dealer handled it quickly and we are very happy

HORRIBLE!!
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY! I originally ordered my Tuff Spa in April 2021, and was not delivered until July 2021. The "Tuff" Spa began to concave upon itself near the filter with styrofom from the internal structure going into the Spa and the filter shifting and eventually snapping off at the seam that it attaches to on the Spa. Due to these issues I had to have it replaced in August 2021and again in October 2021 due to the same concaving issue. The same issue is happening YET AGAIN in February 2022. I informed the warranty dept 2/18/22 and asked to have it escalated to corporate for a refund option, warranty staff stated they would send information and pictures to corporate for escalation and next steps due to continued issues. A few weeks went by and I heard nothing so I have called multiple times, sent multiple emails, and I have had no response from anyone at Tuff Spas and it is now April1, 2022. . . a month and a half since I reported my issue. UNACCEPTABLE! I have had 3 Tuff Spas total since July 2021 due to structural malfunction/issues, also UNACCEPTABLE. After the 2nd replacement in October I was told that if it happened again the company would issue a refund, so that is what I am asking for. As of my complaint February18, 2022 TUFF SPAS HAS NOT CONTACTED ME.
HORRIBLE!!

Tuff Spa
I bought a 2 person Tuff spa in April 2018. My electric bill went up $150 in the winter using this tub. We bought it because we liked the cover, but it doesn't really seal. the tub runs all of the time and steam comes out of the top costing me money. In March 2020, I found a slit in the bottom of the tub. Tuff spa said they would replace the tub but that I would have to pay shipping in the amount of $500. I decided to use the tub until it starts to leak out. Then I will go back to Hot Springs for a much better tub.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have read the response from Tuff Spas about my complaintI do not accept the response. My main complaint is that we were never told that the spa would NOT heat with the jets on highWe would have never purchased it had we known thisYes the spa works on volt but does NOT heat on high jetsWe visited a local dealer for spas and he told us that was the first thing he tells people when they want a volt spam, that it doesn't heat on high jets. Also, the spa did drop in temperature from to in about minutes when we used the jets on highWe have arthritis and needs jets on high.Maybe other customers accepted the fact the the Tuff Spas don't heat on high jets, but we should have been told this. Also, if they have such a good product, than why won't they return our money if we are the only ones unhappy.I signed a contract which said no returns!! we purchased our spa from a home show with the dealer being from 3785 east strawberry drive in Gilbert Az 85298, the salesman told us they would hook it up and it would be ready to use, but the delivery just dropped it off and refused to hook it up, we called the dealer and he said we had to hire a electrician to hook it up, we feel like we where ripped off by this dealer!

Tuff Spas has been selling hot tubs in [redacted] for 15 years. We have sold these units with 110v systems since the beginning. If we were not confident the system would work everyone who has bought one of our spas would be complaining and we would not be in business. The representation that the unit...

will heat on 110v is not false. The system will work as proven by the fact that the spa did heat to the highest temperature available (104 degrees). We have dealers all over the country that sell these units as plug and play (110v) that have much cooler climates than any we have in [redacted]. The customer is correct in the assertion that the spa will not heat when the spa is in high speed but this only when the customer puts the spa on high speed. At all other times the spa is in low speed and heating (if necessary). This is true of ALL hot tubs that are plug and play units. The customer’s assertion that the spa temperature went down 8 degrees in 20 minutes is simply false. We could fill up a spa with 104 degree water and put it outside in the middle of winter with no heater and it wouldn’t go down 8 degrees in 20 minutes. Typically, with a 110v unit the spa will lose 1-3 degrees in 20 minutes. All that being said, our claim that the spa will work on 110v is NOT FALSE. Again, this is proven by the fact that the spa heats to its highest temperature and that the spa functions as promised in terms of pressure and usability. The second issue about the jet being too high is simply a matter of preference. The jet is in the same location it was when they saw it at the showroom. They were obviously aware of it when they bought it. It is not uncommon in our industry to have at least a couple jets located higher for neck/shoulder therapy. We designed these spas so that the water level could be variable depending on the number of people that want to use the spa. That being said, our dealer’s assertion that the water level could be lowered is simply the way to remedy the issue not a way to get out of fixing the issue because it is not an issue.Hopefully, my information above will clear up the fact that our claim that the spa will work on 110v is completely true and lowering the water level slightly will fix their overflowing problem. If you need anything additional from me please contact me at the number or email below.Thank you,[redacted]General ManagerTuff Spas[redacted]

Dear Tuff spas.
I have owned your tub for 3 months. It is true you only have 15 to 20 min before the tempo drops from 104 to 97 degrees. I am not satisfied with your product either.
Thankyou

Tuff Spas is the best I have ever sold in 25 years and the manufacturer support is second to none. The product is the most durable spa on the market today

Let me first say that the issue the customer is having is not with Tuff Spas because we did not sell them the product, nor did we take any money from them so we cannot refund something we never received money for. If this customer has an issue with something that was told to them or not told to them it is between them and the company that sold them to product. That being said, the spa works as sold. It heats up to the required temperature and the jets function as promised on 110v power. The fact that the spa will heat when the spa is on low speed does not diminish this fact. The product works as it has been manufactured to work. Again, Tuff Spas never received any money from the customer so there is nothing for us to refund.
