Fidelity used deceptive Bait and Switch sales tactics to increase price of purchase contract
I recently attempted to purchase a package of *** weeks that Fidelity had advertised on *** for a below market priceI made an offer that the Fidelity broker confirmed was accepted by the sellerI signed and returned a purchase contract and deposit on 8/27/and the seller had days to accept the offer or Fidelity guaranteed that the deposit would be returneddays later I received an email from the Fidelity broker, Angie E***, stating that the seller was delayed in returning the contract because they were on vacationOh, and coincidently during these past days they have received a higher offer from another broker that the seller forgot they had signed an agreement withHowever, Fidelity was able to negotiate a commission settlement with this mystery broker and I could still close the deal if I increased my offer 17.5% from $34k to $40kWhat a coincidence that this mys
The marketing agent misrepresented the business as selling my timeshare and tried to get me to sign a form for them to close the deal "quickly" When I investigated further it was evident that I was giving up the rights to my property and would receive $in proceeds from the sellFidelity Real Estate would however make $1,for "taking this property off my hands" Very dishonest portrayal of what you are getting from these guysBeware!
Incomplete transaction due to failure to perform as promised
All documents were submitted in a timely manner months ago authorizing the sale of our time share After repeated emails and phone calls from me to find out the status of the sale, to both the sales agent and supervisory staff in the Wyndham/World Mark division, Fidelity eventually said the transaction was cancelled by a third party However after contacting the third party it was evident Fidelity initiated the cancellation months ago and did not tell us about it After more phone calls and emails from me they continue to say they will re-initiate the sale but do provide any evidence they are acting in good faith
