Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The business states that I tried contacting on "a day" that they were having phone problems. This is not an isolated incident. This has been going on for months, that, when their automated system calls me, I answer by saying hello, hello, then the system hangs up. On numerous occasions I've called the phone number back, only to have their system hang up on me, and makes it impossible to speak with a customer service rep. And sometimes when I do get a rep, they hang up when I explain why I'm calling. So, for the company to state that this was a one day problem they were having is completely untrueIt just happened on the day I filed the complaint, I had had my fill of the inept customer service and lack of desire to help me make my loan account goodI feel that they are just trying to accumulate phone calls in their records for quotas, and not to perform excellent customer service

The school (lender), confirmed on January 10, 2018, via email with the borrower that his account had been zeroed out, closed and the servicer, Tuition Options, managed the same steps.  Tuition Options sent a formal account closure notification on January 15, 2018, to the borrower and also provided an account detail report and transaction history showing a zero balance and that the account has been cancelled on the Tuition Options platform.  This matter is considered resolved and closed.

Tuition Options partners with schools to service their institutional loan programs.  As such, Tuition Option has been servicing this borrower account per the agreement with the school/lender.  Our company has been in contact with the borrower since receiving the Revdex.com complaint and...

also has discussed with the school/lender.  Tuition Options has closed this loan account on its platform and returned the account to the school - the borrower has been updated on this account closure.   Tuition Options instructed the borrower on Friday, January 5, 2018, to communicate directly with the school/lender regarding the open balance with the school.  We consider this issue closed.

Review: Tuition options calls me with an automated system. When I answer the phone, the call disconnects automatically. I've called back several times, only to have the system hang up automatically. I called back, pressed the prompt for school representative, got a customer service rep, she didn't seem very concerned about the situation, and as I was explaining the problem with the phone system to her, she hung up on me. I tried to call back again, the phone rings once, then the system hangs up. I am trying to work out payment arrangements with my student loan, but they are making it extremely difficult to contact the. I feel like they are trying to place obstacles in my way so that I cannot make a payment. This happens every month where they call with their automated system, then hang up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this company cited for poor business practices, and I would like this loan to be written off due to the impossibility of contacting someone to work out arrangements. To me, this seems illegal to send bills to someone, and advertise a phone # in the letter, then hang up when I try to call to work out arrangements or make a payment by phone.
