I am partially rejecting this response because the Revdex.com only provides two opposite options to describe my response to the business' response and, as I do not accept all that was written, this is my only option.  Unfortunately, the business' response is blocked from view while writing this, so, I have to respond based on what I remember reading.  The initial shopping experience was wonderfully positive and everything the owners claim they strive for. The only clarification I would make is that I got my own coffee, but have no doubt that [redacted] would have had I asked her to. She was helpful and made the experience as enjoyable as it could be.  Likewise when I went by the following Monday and paid in full for everything.  We have shopped there in the past (when we first moved to town) and had a great experience with Brenda; she was incredibly wonderful and had an amazing eye for colors and style.We were never - at any point during any of this - told that the tile we chose was custom, hand-made in Mexico and that the usual delivery schedule of 7 - 10 days did not apply to it as it did to the other tiles my wife and her decorator were looking at.  Reading it in the Revdex.com response was the first time I was made aware of it.  We were never notified that there would be a delay by the store until our contractor went to pick it up. To take the position that the retailer is at the mercy of the supplier is, in my opinion, poor business; surely there is more than one tile manufacturer available.  Had we been warned in advance that there might be problems, we would have chosen something else. It felt like I was being given a run around; that it was easier to blame the supplier.  Nothing was shared about it being hand made or that there would be delays. I truly believe [redacted] wanted to help us, but after the second delay, it became more difficult to accept. Knowing now what we didn't know then, I can only suggest that it may be time to get another supplier in Mexico.  Yes, remodeling is a very stressful time and can get the better of one's temper.  It was very frustrating and angering to hear that there is yet another delay.  I trusted you.  I believed you.  I, mistakenly I understand now, was operating under the belief that the tile was to be here in a week and a half. Lastly, regarding the business' claim that my impression of being possibly discriminated against is a libelous statement - the statement was not published nor shared with any potential customers.  It was only shared with the owners via a confidential third-party (Revdex.com) by an unhappy customer so that the owners of the company would be made aware; pretty sure the front line clerks weren't going to pass it along.  I was offended at repeatedly being called sugar or sweetpie by your staff.  I don't think she meant it offensively, any more than the male employee who waited on us about a year and a half ago when we were looking at carpeting only called me, "boss."  It came across poorly and unprofessional and the owners/managers need to be aware that it can come across that way. I was raised in retailing and believe management needs to know everything they can and make their business decisions from there.For whatever it's worth, the tile looks wonderful.  I wish we'd ordered more to cover another section.  Oddly, if I had to order it again, and knew it would take two - three months to get it, in all honesty, I probably would.[redacted]
