To start with his compliant about under filling, we are required by law to fill his size tanks by weight The rule reads as follows"Cylinders less than lbWC and subject to DOT jurisdiction must be filled by weight." His tanks are 100lb and 20lb WC and are DOT vessels None
of the trained employees here fill by the meter They all know to put the cylinder on the scale and fill by weight On a pump station the meters are not permitted to be certified because what the meters read varies depending on the temperature of the product however the weight is constant We tried to explain this to the customer but he become enraged and told us he knows what he read on the internet No mater how much we tried to explain it to him he just screamed and yelled Also he insisted he weighed the tanks at home also When we asked him if his scales are certified for trade by the Deptof Aglike our one in the propane pump station he told us that does not matter We even offered to show him the certification sticker on the scale and he become even more enraged and started calling us names A bathroom scale is not legal for trade. The problem is that the customer reads something online that has no facts to back it up and believes it to be true.As to his LIHEAP crisis We received it on the 4/5/ The program closed on 4/7/ I had one for this customer and one for another customer still open on 4/10/and when I spoke with someone at the Deptof Public Welfare I was told the program was closed and I could not bill against it after the program had closed All invoices for crisis must be dated during the dates that the program is open and active If I back date the invoice I would then be committing welfare fraud As to the customer claiming we "ganged up on him" When we tried to explain to him what the law is and why it is done that way he just continued to speak over us and call us thief's We follow the rules set by the state to the letter If the customer does not agree with this the solution is not to call us thief's He should do his homework and understand why the rules are what they are By this persons own complaint he has shown that he does not know the rules Also for him to call us thief's when he does not know the law is defaming me and my business Also I attached the search from the Dept of Agshowing my scale was just certified in December If you have any questions feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### Thank you, Louis C***, President Commercial Miscellaneous Sales, LLC
