Tunxis Community-Technical College

Review: I enrolled at Tunxis for the motorcycle safety course. Which is a $200 course. Upon arriving at the course I was advised by an instructor that "riding motorcycle was not for me". I was asked to leave the class for the safety of myself and others in the class. I was advise by the instructor that I would receive a refund. Upon contacting the college I was advise that is not the policy. I was not the one who chose not to participate I was eliminated due to the instructor. I should be refunded my money as I did not receive the services promised by the institution. I was willing to complete the class but was not aloud to finish. I paid for 6 hours of classroom and 12 hours of riding instruction which I only received 30 minutes of riding. This college is a crook. Save your money and seek a different institution.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded since I did not receive the services as promised. I paid for 6 hours of classroom and 12 hours of riding instruction which I only received 30 minutes of riding.

We’re not sure from your complaint who you spoke to about your refund, but wish that you had first informed our office about your request. We were unaware that you had been asked to leave the class. You will be refunded the full $200 amount for the class. You should receive your refund within the next two weeks.
