I called VAP in April of 2015 after my 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet started jerking at low speed. I was convinced that the transmission was going as the CVT transmissions on these cars is notoriously bad. I spoke to the owner, Mark over the phone and he told me thst he would be happy to check the car out. He also told me that these transmissions were hard to find and that if it was the transmission the cost to replace it would be around $ 4000.00. I brought it in a week or two later and left the car as I returned back to my home in Canada. Mark called about a week later and told me that he had good news. It was not the transmission at all, rather it was an engine timing issue - it was misfiring on 3 cylinders and that he replaced everything needed to fix the problem for $ 600.00. Needless to say I was delighted. I had them do other preventive maintainence while tge car was there and it runs great. They do great work at a fair price. I am a VAP customer for life.
