1/12/2012 On October 24, 2015 the Pocono Mountains Film Festival celebrated our 13th Annual Awards dinner at the [redacted] Resort in the Poconos.The named person [redacted] that filed a complaint against the Pocono Mountains Film Festival purchased 4 awards dinner tickets approximately 30 days...

prior to the event. All attendees must reserve their tickets and a head count is given to the hotel to assure in advance that each participant attending the [redacted] awards dinner receives a dinner that he or she has paid for.The evening of October 24th [redacted] stated that he wanted to cancel his 4 dinner tickets upon his arrival with his 3 guests to the dinner. He was told that it was too late to cancel and that his $240.00 had been given to the hotel / for head count purposes.[redacted] had 3 weeks prior to the dinner to cancel and he did not. As a policy we inform our guests in advance that we must give a head count to the hotel to allow them to prepare the exact amount of food for each participant attending the dinner.If a person waits until the day of the event to cancel we cannot reimburse any monies or take a loss due to their negligence to cancel prior to the event. We must have a reasonable time of notice to allow us to inform the caterers at the hotel of the adjustment prior to the day of the event.The Pocono Mountains Film Festival celebrated 13 years in business without any complaints.Please note our correct address at the top of this letter.
