Portage County court decision was in favor of Turle Construction.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2016/02/11) */
These complaints are all false. This job took extra time to complete due to the customer arguing with his neighbor & the neighbor getting the city of Twinsburg involved. This took approximately 4 weeks. Due to the arguments & the neighbors...

complaints the driveway had to be moved 5' per Twinsburg city specs. The neighbor won the argument. In addition, customer agreed to do the plumbing which took the customer 3 weeks to complete. It actually took Turle Construction (9) days to complete the job proposed. In regards to the damaged garage door, Turle Construction replaced & installed the door & deducted $900 from the total cost of the job. The customer advised Turle Construction not to repair garage ceiling because customer said he planned on replacing all of the dry wall in the garage anyways. As for being accused of stealing material, Turle Construction did not take anything that didn't belong to them. Customer took 80' of 4" drain pipe back to supplier for refund. In the end the customer was completely satisfied with no complaints addressed after the completion of the job.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 20, 2016/02/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The contractor came at 4:00 for a week to work on the garage floor for an hour. Because it took so long it gave the neighbor time to call City Hall and make the problems that then happened. He had a 50,000 job he was working on and it was more important than our job. I understand that he made more money from that then ours then he should have started ours later. We felt like he wasn't interested in doing our driveway. Also, my husband has had 2 hips replacements and has a bad back so yes it did take time for him to do the plumbing. I agree with that statement. Yes he did replace the garage door as well but the framing was not fixed correctly.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 22, 2016/02/17) */
The original false statements made by the customer (Mr) have now become less of a false statement made by the customer (Mrs) The problem here is the lack of communication between Mr & Mrs. Turle Construction only delt with Mr throughout the entire process of the job. Turle Construction & Mr. were both in agreement with what was to be done & the scheduled timeframe. It took Turle Construction 3 days to tear out garage floor because the concrete was thicker than informed by customer. Then Mr. had to do plumbing & then Mr. argued back & forth with city hall...... After all that time went by, Turle Construction put the floor down within 2 days. Any delays were due to the customer & not Turle Construction.
