We have received the attached letter in regards to customer *** ***This dealership opened in June of therefore this customer is not a customer of ours. Thanks,*** ***Turlock CDJR###-###-####

We have had so many issues with this vehicle very early onFor example, July of 2009, it was
only years old and had only 22,miles on it, the ignition was sticking when I would start the engineOur interior lights didn't work, the molding around the door was falling off, and the seat belt cover was coming offThey didn't repair the interior lights, the door molding was fixed, but the seat belt cover was fixed, but then shortly after, the passenger side fell apartThey didn't fix the ignition sticking, stating that they were unable to duplicate when they test drove itThat continued happeningThen less than a month later, it wouldn't startIt had to be towed into the shopThey diagnosed that the battery and starter went out and were replacedmonths later, it wouldn't start AGAIN! The key would not come out of the ignitionThat was repairedThe interior lighting still wasn't working properly, and not fixedSeveral more engine parts broke down and had to be replaced, all outside of warrantyThere were a couple of recalls that came up where we had to take in for them to replace partsThe rule injector went out and was covered by a recall, but then within a year or so, the problem reoccured and they had to replace it againThe most recent was a $1,major issue, where it was in the shop for days! This was a cylinder injector issue and lifter collapsingThis was all replaced, but putting us in debt over $and without a vehicle for daysWe were warned at that time that they noticed during this lengthy time in the shop, that they already see an additional repair coming up with the exhaustThis is just unacceptable to have this many issues, some not even mentioned, happen to such a new vehicle with such little miles on itWe believe that Dodge should replace our vehicleIt is a money pit and the issues have not stopped with it ever since we got it

Review: We have had an excessive amount of issues with our 2006 Dodge Durango. The first of the issues occurred just a year into having it. We have had to repair several parts and have spent several thousands of dollars fixing it. There is no reason for a vehicle to have as many issues as it has had. It has been a money pit and we continue to be in debt because of having to spend so much money on repairs for this vehicle. The repairs are just not normal for a vehicle having only 70,000 miles on it at this point.Desired Settlement: We want our vehicle replaced. We feel strongly that this is a lemon. We have the paperwork on all repairs that we have had to do on this vehicle to prove that it has had an excessive amount of repairs in a short time.

We have had so many issues with this vehicle very early on. For example, July of 2009, it was only 3 years old and had only 22,000 miles on it, the ignition was sticking when I would start the engine. Our interior lights didn't work, the molding around the door was falling off, and the seat belt cover was coming off. They didn't repair the interior lights, the door molding was fixed, but the seat belt cover was fixed, but then shortly after, the passenger side fell apart. They didn't fix the ignition sticking, stating that they were unable to duplicate when they test drove it. That continued happening. Then less than a month later, it wouldn't start. It had to be towed into the shop. They diagnosed that the battery and starter went out and were replaced. 3 months later, it wouldn't start AGAIN! The key would not come out of the ignition. That was repaired. The interior lighting still wasn't working properly, and not fixed. Several more engine parts broke down and had to be replaced, all outside of warranty. There were a couple of recalls that came up where we had to take in for them to replace parts. The rule injector went out and was covered by a recall, but then within a year or so, the problem reoccured and they had to replace it again. The most recent was a $1,365.70 major issue, where it was in the shop for 12 days! This was a cylinder injector issue and lifter collapsing. This was all replaced, but putting us in debt over $1300 and without a vehicle for 12 days. We were warned at that time that they noticed during this lengthy time in the shop, that they already see an additional repair coming up with the exhaust. This is just unacceptable to have this many issues, some not even mentioned, happen to such a new vehicle with such little miles on it. We believe that Dodge should replace our vehicle. It is a money pit and the issues have not stopped with it ever since we got it.

Review: Manager at the dealership exhibited repeated opposition to removing my name from their advertising list.

My son called the dealership on my behalf to remove my name from their advertising list for the second or third time. The manager called him back and informed him, more than once, that the dealership did not have my name or address in their system and that the mailings were random. By the end of the call it was discovered that the manager did not even know my name or address and that the mailings were sent specifically to current and past Dodge, etc., car owners. If it had not been for my son persistently asking where my name and adddress was located in a database, the manager would have done NOTHING. Both the receptionist initially and the manager stated emphatically, "There is nothing we can do about it. Just throw it away."Desired Settlement: I want to be assured that the manager or someone else in the dealership contacted their advertising company to remove my name from the marketing list(s) for this dealership.
