RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. First off, Mr. H [redacted] did not need to mention that he is a third party contractor. I addressed the same issue with my energy company, they were helpful and understanding, and said that I had been polite and patient with them. I assured them I would not be mentioning their name in my complaint, because my complaint is not with them. It is with Mr. H***s. Mr. H [redacted] is flat out lying to suggest that I was "arrogant and abusive" toward him on the phone. Not true at all. Quite the opposite. He wouldn't even let me explain to him. He continually interrupted me when I would try to speak and was unwilling to hear my side at all. He stated that I had signed a work order that indicated what the bill would be, which is also NOT true. The work order I signed has no information about charges, and if their copy does, it was added after-the-fact. It was not because I was being abusive to him, but because I informed him that if we couldn't resolve the issue I would be making a complaint to the BBB. I stated it simply and matter of factly and was NEVER abusive or even aggressive toward Mr. H***s. I was trying to get him to listen to reason, but again, he was unwilling to allow me to speak, or consider my account of what occurred. He said, "You do that," and hung up on me. I did call his office back after I thought I had gathered myself, and had spoken to my energy company again, and I did start crying, because it became clear right away that Mr. H***s was refusing to take my calls, and instead called my energy company. I was again polite and patient with the office staff at Turnbull, and they were very understanding and apologetic as well. My energy company was VERY concerned about the way I was being treated by Mr. H***, and apologized on his behalf, although they should not have had to. They assured me that they would send another contractor to our residence for any future issues, and I received a call from the owner of my energy company who AGREED that I was unfairly charged and he offered to me to waive the charges for the first visit. It was evident to him when I read him the work order that the heat kicked on by itself when the valves were tapped with a wrench, NOT as a result of tightening wires as Mr. H [redacted] is trying to twist things to sound like. In terms of the financial piece of the complaint, since my energy supplier waived that fee, absorbing that cost because they BELEIVED Mr. H [redacted] to be in the wrong, and because he was also unwilling to cooperate with them, I no longer need anything from Mr. H***, but people should know that HE is arrogant, abusive, and a liar. Regards, [redacted]

I have called on Turnbull Heating to my home times for problems with my furnace and a gas leak In each instance they have been prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous I would not hesitate to recommend their service to anyone

Please note we are a third party servicing  contractor working as a subcontractor for [redacted]. I have faxed over copies of the original  work orders 73090 dated 11-9-15 and 73093  dated 11-10-15.
Please note the first work order 73090 indicates...

the initial call was " no Heat ".  After we tighten some wires the heat came on and off several times. All zone valves were working. This call was justified and billable.
The next day it was a different issue. This time the zone valves were stuck open, when during the previous call the day before they cycled on and off with their respective thermostats. Two zone valves were determine bad and one thermostat needed to be replaced. Please note: With out our Technician's trouble shooting expertise, knowledge, and recommendations the customer would not have known what to do.
This call was also billable.
When I told the customer I felt both service calls were fair and billable. The Technician was a senior Tech. with over 20 years with the company. If he thought it was a call back on him he had the authorization  to " no charge" the customer for one of the calls. Unfortunately, for this customer there were  two separate issues. It is company policy to always send the original Technician to the second call for this reason.
At this time the  customer became  very arrogant and abusive on the phone and I hung up on her.
She called back with in a few minutes and complained to my staff I was very rude, told my staff she was crying, and did not deserve the treatment I gave her. I  was polite and firm with our chargeable services.
Please review the work orders I faxed over today and add them to  this file for future reference.
Please call me if you need any further information.
Sincerely,
Bill H[redacted]. Pres.
