*** *** rebuttal 07/28/rebuttal is in red To begin, I was put in contact with this customer through a friends church groupThe church had provided a great deal of service at no chargeYes a church group helped me out, but *** has no way of knowing what money transpired between the church and myself. The labor and some supplies were provided by the church, but not allI don't really see what this has to do with Turner Construction She was in contact with this group somehow and was able to get them to work for her at no charge through a church that helped people who could not pay for services. I contacted a friend of mine to give me an estimate on some repair work around my houseHe is a contractor *** *** and put on a gable roof on the back of my house many, many years ago. That led to their church group doing some work for meAt some point this group could no longer perform the work she wantedThe Group ran into water in between the top floor and another floor below it. That is when *** G informed me to contact my Home Owners insurance co. *** *** had said this was going to be to costly for me to continue with the flooring in my kitchen and utility room. So I contacted my insurance co. To clarify who *** *** is, he is a Contractor in constructionHe works for a company where he travels constructing buildings etcAt this point she decided to make an insurance claim and that is when I began work for herAgain, I was instructed to make an insurance claim by *** *** She dealt with her insurance company and I made a contract with her based on what the insurance would coverYes I did deal with my insurance company. *** had told me several times as did *** that the estimate were to low. *** had told me on more than one occasion that he had contacted my insurance company to inform them of that fact*** also said that *** was contacting my insurance company. *** told me on several occasions he was expecting more money from the insurance company. *** also told *** G. that the insurance estimated was way to low. *** told *** on the phone from my house that it was an insurance job that I had the deductible. *** told *** to do the job over and do it right. *** told *** he was trying to save me some money. *** told *** he would not accept the job if it were his house and that *** wouldn't either. *** told *** that *** won't except it either. *** also said to *** to please come out and fix my water because I was starting to smell after a week with of no Hot Water. Trying to lighten up the conversation. She had a deductible she said she could not pay and proceeded to cut work after I began, AFTER she had received the insurance paymentThis is untrue. The day *** came to my house with floor samples, I had already received my insurance check. I deposited the insurance check 10/23/2015. *** came to my house on 10/30/and I wrote him a check #*** for $1636.35. Check #*** $1,11/06/2015. Ck # *** to *** Turner your *** for $1,I never once said to cut any of the workI would like to address what I feel is the most serious allegationMs *** has accused people of *** on the jobThe people (your workers) were *** Turner your ***, the *** of your *** ***The other worker a guy named ***. They were working for you *** representing your Company. They both even admitted to *** on the job. I have been in this business for over years and there has never been someone with me on a job ***You were only here once when they were here working and that was at the beginning of the job. But they left their empty cans of beer in one of the garbage bags that was left behind. It was full of garbage from that days work. I had also told you about this prior to contacting Revdex.com. When you came to my house to start cleaning up their horrible job we discussed Ii then in per***, we had also discussed it on the phone as well. You also told me told me that you had another guy to do the job and he didn't *** or fool around on the job. He was a good worker If there was that per*** would be removed immediately and never be contracted by me againAlso *** (your ***) and *** both admitted to *** on the jobAlso, Ms *** NEVER indicated to me that she was concerned about thisThis complaint is the first I have heard of it. This is not true, we discussed it on the phone and in per*** at my house. *** lets not forget the length email I sent you about everything in March and this was covered there too All floor was laid by manufacters standards But, *** and *** tore the flooring in several places when they laid it. I ask them about the water on the floor in front of my sink and they said it was from the unhooking of my dishwasher and water connection to my refrigerator. I told them they needed to check it before they laid the floor downThey would not listen to me. Anything under yards does not need to be glued or attached. I understand the concept of a glue free floorBut the floor is not fasten down by even the base board, because you or you crew never replaced the base board after you tore them off the wall to put patch walls and replace my floor. *** didn't even lay flooring under my refrigerator. So if the floor isn't held down by the kick plates and the base board what holds it to the floor? Wrinkles that came after installation were due to a leak in her ice maker at the pipesThe ice maker shut off was old and defective and DID NOT disconnectThe leak was not there prior to the construction job. So when I pointed out the water on the new wood *** and *** said that it was from them unhooking dishwasher and water connection for my refrigerator, not to worry. Had they taken care of the problem then and there their would not be any whelps in the wood or the (wrinkles) to worry about. I called you the very next day about the flooring problems and water. You brought out a blower and placed it under the flooring to dry it out with the flooring flapping in the wind for over a week. Making the already large rips in the floor worse. I have pictures of bad shutoff to back upI have pic of the pipe that was replaced that wasn't leaking before the construction that *** left me. I also have a pic of the heating Element that burnt up because *** didn't open up the water valve As far as paint job goes, she hired a separate contractorThat was *** Turner your *** and *** yet again. *** told me you had told him for me to deal with him because you were out with your knee. Since I couldn't get you to return any of my calls at the time I went with it. It was only December at this time and I had already missed having Thanksgiving dinner at my house with my family because of my house being so tore upAs stated in text to *** I ask him why would you talk to everybody but me. He said he didn't know. You would talk to him, *** *** ( the co that you work for that is where my flooring came from). I cannot comment on work I didn't do nor should she be allowed to make a complaint about something someone else was paid to do. *** you come to my home eventually and start repairing their botch job? I had even put tape where their were problems. You added even more tape than what I had put up. You come to my house and work on mudding and sanding my walls. As far as the water heater goes, yes the tank was not filled when reinstalled but if she was out of hot water for a week that was because she did NOT communicate this issueNot communicating the issue? I have several text that was sent to you, Nov 7, Nov 8, Nov not to mention the calls that were madeI received a call on a Saturday night late and was at her home with in hours with a plumber*** Gcalled you on Friday Novaround 3:PM to talk to you about the horrible job that had been done as well as the water heater problem. I know because he called from my house and I was there listening to the call. Her hot water heater was fixed early on Sunday MorningYou came on Saturday Nov around 9:AM and hooked up a hose to drain the water heater and you leftYou told me you would be back a little later with your *** *** to repair it. Is he a plumber? I waited a couple of hours and called you and told you I had to run out to call me when you were close to my house and I would be there. You agreed. I wasn't going to wait all day yet again for a no show. You called me after you and your brother were done. That night I go to get in my freezer to find out you turned off a breaker to work on the water heater and didn't turn it back on. So my freezer was thawing out. Yes there is text to that as well. IF it would help I can provide documentation of the multiple deaths in the family as well as statements regarding my knee replacement and I think it is sad that someone would use a loss as a way to make money***, you had so many excuses. There was your wife being sick, you being sick, your identity being stolen. Something at your Bread Store, your rental property, family needing repairs. Make money, how do you figure thatI have paid $4,307.22, my walls have patched mud all over them not sanded still needing more mud and paint. I have a floor that ripped all over the place. My pantry that cabinet that *** took from the wall is still just sitting there waiting to fall any time. My kitchen table is in my family room. My kitchen stuff is all over my house my utility room stuff is all over my house and has been since before November of 2015. To finalize, no payment was taken for labor until all the work was completed, with the exception of the corners she asked me to cut, and she paid me with no issueI have always worked with the attitude that my work comes with the guarantee that I would expect if I was hiring out workI never ask you to cut corners*** You told me from the beginning you were going to go by the Insurance Estimate. That we would use it as a contract. You also ask me for a check the first time for $1,to order the mat and flooring. You also told me you would show me my receipts on the job. I have yet to see one receiptYou kept telling me you would get them to me. With that said sometimes I run in to someone that I could never satisfyI have pictures of how my kitchen was left by you and my utility room. The first floor you laid is still down with the rips and humpsThe walls still have patches all over them where you came in after the first patch and paint job in FebruaryWhen you finally came back to my house the week of February the 29th. You were suppose to come to my house on the 29th but of course you didn't show yet again but he did come on March 1st and 2nd He started to patch and sand all the bad spots in the wall left from *** and ***. He told me on Tuesday he just couldn't find anyone to work. That is why he was here doing the sanding and patching himself. *** said he wasn't going to use *** on this job any more. He couldn't put up with them, that he was getting to old for their kind of crap. *** stayed for a couple of hours on Tuesday. Wed he told me he had found a crew to complete the whole job starting Friday. He told me that he wanted to work on getting all the patching and sanding done so the floor and painting would be done on Friday and Saturday of that weeks end. He said the job would be complete. *** was suppose to come back every day the rest of the week. *** has never been in my house again to this day. I also have pictures of the walls after *** left them as well as pictures of how *** left them after that. Lets not forget the floor I have pictures of that as wellThis job has never been complete to have the chance to be satisfied. I hardly this I am being a difficulty or unrea***ableI sent *** a email going over all the problems once again giving him the opportunity to make good on the job his company was hired to do. My family and friends were wanting me to bring some sort of legal action against ***. My family and friends did help me out financially when the church was working on my house before *** was brought into the pictureMy family gave me my deductible. I called my child hood priest to get some guidanceBecause *** said he knew him very well. After talking to this priest and asking him if he could shed some light on *** and his characterI was torn to the fact that maybe *** was having some bad luck. Father told me ***'s name didn't ring a bell right off. Father *** said it wouldn't matter if *** was his best friendFather *** said he would tell me to contact who ever I needed to. Father *** told me to take what ever actions I needed to because he had ripped me off. Father *** said that I had given him ample time and opportunity to complete the job *** had started. He said Because *** did this to me he had more than likely done it before to someone else, and he would do it again. That maybe I could stop someone else from being taken advantage of by *** in the futureThat is when I decided for sure to contact the Revdex.comBetween phone calls, text and emails that I have copies of I gave *** every opportunity to rectify the job. But to no avail he never came back to finish it. When I contacted *** *** and explained my situation about *** and *** and all the problems they offered to order me another new floor*** *** wasn't even involved in this problem really. All they did was provided the flooring that *** ordered. The flooring is still at *** *** waiting to be picked up to be laid in my kitchen and utility room. I want to say that I do not want *** Turner or his crew at my house to do any further work. He is untrustworthy, unprofessional and obviously can not finish this job in a timely manner. Since I hired him in October of and the job is far from doneI need to hire someone else to do the job and start over. Do it in right and in a timely manner. Do the job
