Turner Roofing & Exteriors LLC Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
All work had been done on last Friday (09/16/16) which was supposed to be done a week before last Wednesday (09/07/16) My biggest frustration was that I could not contact the sale manager, I had no idea what was going on during this time period I was able to contact ownership of the business, and I got a phone call from the sale manager All things were going well after that Thank you, Revdex.com help.Sincerely,
*** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/11/09) */
When *** Roofing was hired by Mrs*** to be the general contractor on their project we had to supplement the approval of their bow windowThis process started in Feb and was not approved by the inside adjuster until March Once
we had approval we moved forward with supplying *** Windows with a signed contract and deposit to order this windowAt the time of ordering this bow window we were 6-weeks out before it was going to be available for installWhen the bow window was delivered to *** Windows they are covered to protect the productThe window company does not remove this protective covering until the product is installed to help insure any damage prior to install and during install
The cracks in the base where not discovered until after installation was complete due to the protective covering on the bow window, unfortunately we had no way to know when the damage took placeOnce the damaged was discovered *** Windows and *** Roofing went and met with the homeowner's to go over all the concerns that they had and to come to an agreement as to what steps should be taken to resolve these concernsPlease see below list of items that where agreed:
For *** and Homeowner
Here is a list of things ***'s will address:
The window seat that has cracks - I am in discussions with the plant about thisI will let you know when I get the verdictWe will fix no matter what
The holes outside where the kickers were installed - we will patch
The gap between the casing and wall - we will caulk or fix depending on situation
Water stain marks - we will either replace or fix depending on the severity of the stain
Chipped wood - we will fix or get a new piece
Address the outside trim accordingly - I do not have a clear picture or description
The dust - I am sorry for t dustWe do try to clean wellIt is construction and it is possible for the wind to blow in dust further than we cleanedWhat do you want me to do here?
If there is something I forgot, let me know
*** Windows was instructed to go out to homeowner's property and glue down the cracks first and paint the whole bow insideThis was in an email communication to homeowners and was approved by them to come out and perform this work, Sept 1st was agreed for these repairs to take place***'s Representative showed up on Sept 1st and was yelled and told to leave the property and that this was not acceptableOnce again *** Windows contacted the manufacture to have them come out and repair the window with the manufactures tech's, ***'s representative was no longer going out to the property to be yelled at by the homeownerThis repair with the manufacture was arranged to happen on 10/16/2015, ** was schedule to be there this day but there was a mis-communication with his office that he was suppose to be out of town at this time** did contact the homeowners days prior to the 16th to let them know that he would not be there and that it would be best to continue with the repair since it has been difficult to make these arrangementsThe day the manufacture was suppose to repair the window had to be re-schedule due to materials all not being readyMrs*** was contacted by the manufacture and is currently re-scheduled for 11/12/
We, *** Roofing & Exteriors and *** Windows have not tried to cover up any issues, everything has been discussed with the homeowners and approved through emailsWe are not able to make the decision of replacing the bow window at this time it is a manufactures decision
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/11/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Despite the numerous significant issues that we have experienced throughout working with *** and ***, we have remained professional and tolerantThe lack of communication, honesty, and responsiveness on behalf of *** and *** is and has been egregious to say the leastWhen the painter was sent to our home to cover up the issues with our window, the painter expressed his concern and advised against itMy husband absolutely did not kick him out of our home or yell or call names as falsely stated by ***Nor did we "admit" to not reading the email fullyWhat we actually said, verbatim, was "We are not comfortable with them simply super gluing the cracks and painting over them on our brand new window that shouldn't have any flaws in the first placewe all know that will not permanently fix the problem and the cracks will eventually spread, especially with the temperature changes in COWhen *** sent the email on 8/19, we weren't clear on what that meant until the painter arrived today and told us that he was advised to literally super glue the cracks and paint over them." Had there been better communication, we would have had a better understanding of what they planned to do before they sent the painter out to our homeIt was certainly not our intent to waste anyone's time, despite the constant disregard for oursThe window manufacturer confirmed that this would not have fixed the issue but rather prolonged itThe manufacturer also confirmed that *** was dishonest with us about the utility of our windowOur previous window had three that opened in the middle (the window has five separate windows within it) and after our new window was installed, we noticed only the two on the outside openedWhen we asked about it, we were advised by *** that the manufacturer did not provide the option to have three that opened in the middleThis was never discussed with us prior to ordering or installing the windowWhen we asked the manufacturer about it, they confirmed that it is indeed an optionRegardless, on the list of things *** said they would address in July, not ONE of them has been done after FOUR monthsThat is the point of this complaint as this has been our experience throughout this processWe are beyond tired of being put on the back burner and expect our issues to be remedied and our work to be complete in an honest, professional, and timely manner*** and *** need to take accountability and make things right
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/11/30) */
*** Roofing and *** Windows did try to correct the issues in questionThis work was intended to be corrected on Sept 1st and this is when ***'s painter was told to leaveIn our previous response it was stated what was going to be completed and at that time it was agreed uponWe know that the manufacture has been out to work on this window and it appears that there is just one more service call that needs to be made by the manufacture and the homeowners are accepting the window in questionsLike we have stated before, the window in questions is a manufacture issue, it came in damaged and neither *** Roofing nor *** Windows was aware that this window was damaged until it was installedThere is a protective covering on the window so that there is no damage during delivery and installThe old window could not be re-installed at this point, the new window had to stay in placeAgain, we have tried to make things right

At the time that the materials were delivered we were on schedule, our roofers contacted us and told they were out ill and that we needed to push the roof. We did not find out until a later date that our roofer had lost his crew and was locating a new crew to complete our roofs. Mr. [redacted] was out...

due to personal affairs that needed his full attention. At this time all work has been completed and the ladder was placed today (9/20) for final inspection tomorrow (9/21). Mr. [redacted] did meet with Mr. [redacted] today (9/20) and all was well. We are very sorry for the delay in completing this roof, that was never our intention.
