Turnersville Kia Reviews (7)

The customer can schedule the appointment to have the lugs removed as requested. Turnersville Kia will do this as a one time "Good Will" gesture even though we were never given the opportunity to offer this resolve before the customer went to the Revdex.com and complained. It is truly disheartening that...

the customer just realized they didn't have a key for the wheel locks after having the vehicle for almost 2 years?  That basically means no service had been performed on this vehicle in that length of time?  Something doesn't seem right in this case.  Turnersville Kia will take the high road and remove the lug nuts as requested.  Marcus DGeneral Manager

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This business is still lying about the situation after reporting the car stolen.  They picked the car up from the police station. They returned my old vehicle back to me with no title. These scam artist will continue to do this to people unless they are held accountable. They will be hearing from my lawyer in regards to their YoYo scam.  It is unfortunate that the state allows these companies to do what they do, there is no way I was driving around in a car for 2 weeks if I wasnt approved and legal.

Review: I did not receive a wheel lock key when I purchased my car. I can not prove that I did not receive it because it has been over a year since it's purchase. I just had a problem with the tire and luckily I brought it in and did not need the spare tire because without the key I am unable to do anything.Desired Settlement: I would like to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. I would like to have a replacement wheel lock or have the lugs removed in a timely manner. They are busy until after this Thanksgiving holiday and of course have hours that when both parents work does not make it convenient.

Review: Purchased a 2012 used Optima with my son on Labor Day,2015. To date we have not received title or tags despite three phone calls to the dealership. Two of these phone calls were to [redacted],used vehicle manager. It seems they do not have the title to the car and are "working" on it. How can you sell a car without the title? Why should it take over two months to complete this process? In the meantime my son is driving the car with no registration.Desired Settlement: Tags and registration will be completed in a timely manner[2 weeks] and I will be notified by mail and phone call to procure these items.

Review: I signed a contract for a vehicle and was scammed. The interest rate is over 22 percent. I was given 3 different sets of paper work, 2 without the interest rates and then hours later one I signed that has 22 percent added. I went back to the dealer twice and was told too bad you signed it and now the car is yours and then was kicked out off the managers officeDesired Settlement: Either to return the car or interest rate needs to be lower

Ms [redacted]We offered you the opportunity to return the vehicle on multiple occasions and you did not bring the vehicle back to the Dealership. You stated you wouldreturn the car on on many dates including 9/3/15, 9/4/15 & again on 9/5/2015 and we still do not have possession of the vehicle. We have both phone calls and surveillance footage showing that you did not bring the vehicle back as we offered you the ability to return the car.Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to resolve this issue amicably, we will be pursuing legal action to remedy this situation.I can be reached at ([redacted] if you have any further questions. If I am unavailable, please ask for Mike B as a last attempt of "GoodWill" to resolve this matter amicably. Regards,Marcus DGeneral ManagerTurnersville Kia[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I initially bought the vehicle back the day after purchase and I was told too bad you signed the contract and was thrown out of Mikes office. Then come to find out the car has NO full coverage and it is NOT financed under the bank stated in the contract. The business chooses not to give me my old car back or the deposit I put down on the car. These dealers are a bunch of snakes that thought they could get over on a young couple and instead screwed themselves by being dishonest. KIA of Turnersville are the ones who laughed when I said I was going to get the Revdex.com involved and now they want to respond to the complaint weeks later. Legal proceedings can start unless they plan on returning my car and my money. I'm not going to return the car and be out a car and my money, once again when I tried to return it I was told too bad and get out my office, yes on at least 3 occasions I returned with the car down the street and they didn't want to return what was mine.

Response:

Attention Revdex.com of SJAt this time, the Dealership has made every effort to resolve this situation amicably without incident. The customer's rejection isn't applicable here as we made no offer to this customer other than to resolve the issue amicably which the customer chose not to accept that option. The vehicle was never returned as promised by the customer multiple times due to damage that the customer caused and was attempting to hide. Turnersville Kia will no longer communicate with this customer. Please close this matter as there isn't any resolve to this. We have a vehicle with extensive damage that the customer caused and attempted to hide. The customer has their vehicle back and drove our vehcile free of charge for over 2 weeks and caused extensive damage to. Thanks for your assistance with this matter.Marcus DGeneral ManagerTurnersville Kia[redacted]

Review: I have been wronged by this dealership I am a victim of aggressive and persuasive CAR salesmanship. Left with a car that the salesman assured me I would be happy with after driving it a couple of weeks. Paid $27,900 for a 2013 Sorento. Started calling the dealership after a week. No one retuned my call had to go in person. Finally, got to return the car for a 2013 sportage. It was never revealed to me that they were only giving me $22,900 for a car I bought from kia and only had for 30 days. I never signed a trade in sheet. I put 1,000 miles and knew there would be deductions. Kia depreciated the sorento $5,000. Used cars loss 10 to 15% over a year. This is a devious transaction by Kia. This was a harrowing process with much more to the story. Over 30 days I paid Kia 36,000 for a 2013 sportage 12,500 for my trade in 15,680.20 for the sorento and then an additional 8,435.23 = $36,615.43. I could have bought a 2015 for that price. My salesman knew I came in to buy a sportage 2013 to save money by not buying a 2015. The 2013 sportage 30,900. Numbers show that there is $5000 difference. I called and it took 60 days for a person to return my call. Never asked me to come in and review the paperwork for both cars. I would like them to review and give me a fair transaction. I paid cash for both cars. I am a victim of tricks and scams to increase their bottom line at the expense of the customer. I am willing to negotiate for fair refund. I tried to work with the general manger and he would not call me back.Desired Settlement: I want a fair refund I am willing to negotiate with the general manager or any executive lead person.

Reply to Mrs. [redacted] Mrs. [redacted] originally purchased a 2013 PreOwned Sorento on March 9, 2015. At that time she paid $27000.00 plus sales tax $1089.90 plus Motor vehicle and Doc Fees of $411.30 for a total = $28501.20. She also purchased a service contract on the vehicle for an additional $1300.00 bringing the grand total to $29801.20 She was given $12730.00 for her trade in vehicle 2011 Kia Sportage with 87K miles on it. Her cash out of pocket for this transaction totaled $17071.20 after her trade title. She purchased this vehicle and all the numbers were fully disclosed to her on multiple forms including her Buyers Order and Sales Contract. The paperwork including her motor vehicle work was completed in a timely fashion as stipulated in the sales order. On March 28, 2015 Mrs. [redacted] returned to the Dealership to TRADE in the 2013 Sorento she purchased on March 9, 2015. She negotiated a deal and everything was disclosed upfront and signed multiple times on both the Sales Contract and the Buyers Order. The vehicle she purchased was a PreOwned 2013 Kia Sportage. For this transaction she negotiated the price to $29999.00 plus sales tax $615.93 plus Motor vehicle and Doc fees of $411.30 for a total = $31026.23 She was given $22500.00 for her trade in vehicle 2013 Kia Sorento. Her cash out of pocket for this transaction totaled $9826.23 after her trade title. She purchased this vehicle and all the numbers were fully disclosed to her on multiple forms including her Buyers Order and Sales Contract. The paperwork including her motor vehicle work was completed in a timely fashion as stipulated in the sales order. We did our best to accommodate Mrs. [redacted]'s request and helped her with trading in 2 vehicles as she asked us to. We didn't do anything underhanded and all the documentation was signed appropriately in multiple locations on the paperwork with complete full disclosure of ALL the numbers for both transactions. We ALWAYS try to accommodate a customer’s request if they purchase a vehicle and don’t necessarily like it for any reason. We do our best to make it painless for the customer. There is no return policy especially since motor vehicle work and tags were completed. This is a classic case of buyer’s remorse for the first purchase and we did our best to service and accommodate Mrs. [redacted]'s wants and needs when she wanted to trade the vehicle. Everything was completed professionally, courteously and fairly within the time specified in the sales contracts. Although we do our best to make every customer happy, we do understand there are cases of buyer’s remorse and this is a perfect example 5 months after her purchases. I am rejecting this response because:At no time was I told that the trade in value for the Sorento was going to be 22,500. I did not sign a trade in sheet for $22,500. I did sign a trade in from for my 2011 sportage. I would like to see a signed trade in form with my signature for the Kia sorento for $22,500.Again used cars only depreciate about 10 to 15% over a year.No one talk to me about a trade in amount just that it I would cost me $8,000 to leave with the Sportage 2013. What is my next step?

I am rejecting this response because:I don't agree with document #3 trade in sheet that is signed [redacted]. All documents on 3/28/15 are signed with just @[redacted]. I never was presented with that sheet and I am sorry to say that I don't have the document in my paper work. Mr Marcus D was not at the dealership that day and doesn't what really know what conspired. He can only assume that all procedures were followed. I don't want to hear that it took me 5 months to reach out to Kia. again, I never got a call from upper management for 2 months only to promise me that Mr Marcus D would call me back. After calling again I got a call 2 weeks after from the sales manager. I wasn't satisfied speaking with him. I called again no responses which brought us to over 4months of my trying to meet with upper management to get these questions answered.I would appreciate Mr Marcus explaining how the kia Sorento depreciated $5,000 in 30 days. No one ever mentioned the word trade-in to me. I was returning the car after 30 days and expected that there would be charges involved. All that was presented to me was a verbal by the salesman that it would cost me an additional $8,000 to leave with the car.I am still willing to meet with M to review and negotiate this transaction. I believe that this was a poor sales management decision.

Response:

Mrs [redacted],I would be happy to meet with you regarding your purchase. I will be back from vacation on Monday September 28, 2015. I will be available to meet with you any time after 11AM. I would also like to mention that we have a very high end surveillance system with multiple cameras in this location which record all the transactions made in the Dealership. I can assure you this paper was signed on the date of your purchase by you as the signatures match all the documents and your license you provided to us. Nonetheless, I will agree to meet with you after I return from vacation. We provided a service to you and sold you the vehicle you desired. You signed multiple documents that all showed the trade allowance clearly. If you were unhappy with the numbers, you could have made a decision to walk away from the deal. That wasn't the case here and I believe that we did everything we could to accommodate your requests and make you a happy customer.Let me know what time you will be able to meet by email response. Thanks!!!!Marcus DGeneral ManagerTurnersville Kia[redacted]
