Shady company
I purchased funds for communication cards. Inmate has still not received. I can't get anyone to answer my concerns. Fortunately in my state there is a law protecting consumers. Especially elderly disabled people. I would look into this company before you lose your money. Nothing but a fraudulent place for stealing money

Turnkey corrections is a joke it's defiantly not convenient they charge u 895 on top of your deposit and for jails that don't offer their services and to get a refund it's a check u can't cash anywhere cause no check reader picks it up ...bad business

I agree the 8.95 fee is ridiculous for a service that is down more than it is available. My issue is with all the money spent on phone cards and the inmate is not able to even use the entire phone card. Having purchased over 2500.00 in phone cards. 0.45 cents or whatever being left over (since it's not enough to make a call) on each card adds up that's atleast 105.43 unaccounted for. So basically we are being cheated out of more money. Where do those remaining amounts go because it isn't building on their account nor have I received a refund. Seeking answers or a lawyer can.

this is Ridiculous 8.95 fee for EVERYTHING you do my first visit I spent 36.00 dollars in fees.turnkey /inmatecanteen are the Criminals here they jack up prices on canteen stuff double what it should be then they charge you 8.95 be able to buy there same goes with phone cards they make the rate to where they make that money and as all ways they charge u 8.95 to get it I wished that turnkey / inmate canteen ceo, presdient,supervisor, etc had a loved on in jal and was forced to to use there own services I bet things would change all there fees and inflated prices they charge should be against the law. the online canteen part of it hardley ever works

Review: I could not find it anywhere on there website saying this was not possible. but I put money on a account so that I could video chat an inmate at a correction facility and the home video system did not work. I even had my computer geek family friend try it and he could not even get it to work. and then I called and talk to 2 very rude employees [redacted], and someone with the name of [redacted] who says he is the president of the company. they where rude, very disrespectful and very not knowledgeable of the information that they where providing me. So then I got hold of the CEO [redacted], and he was just as not friendly as [redacted] and [redacted] where. And I guess he owns the company. so I first wanted to get it transferred from the video account to the regular canteen account, and they said that was not possible. So then I thought about it and I am like ok, I will just take the refund then where I can just transfer it myself. Well then he refused to even talk about a refund and pretty much just hung up on me and did not even give me the time a day. and they keep telling me that they can trouble shoot it, and see where the problem arises, but I do not have time for all of that. nor do I even care to take the time for it. I have tried everything, my friend who has tried everything who has been in the computer field for 15 years now cant figure it out. and am to the point to where I do not even care at this point. they have wasted enough of my time not having and idea on how to resolve the issue, that I am just sick of them wasting my time and theirs for a simple fix. I also don't understand that it is my money, should I not be able to do what I want with it? or put it on the account that I want it to go on? I did not think that it should be this much trouble for a simple fix for such a small amount. and if it was not going to just sit there collecting dust it would not be an issue. but since that is what is going to happen if this does not get resolved. and I don't really have 20 bucks to just throw out the window.Desired Settlement: all I want is for them to either switch it from the video account to the regular canteen account. or for them to refund it to my card and then I can put it on the regular account. either way is fine as long as my money goes where I want it.

Review: Turnkey Corrections is a company used by Reno County KS jail for inmate canteen purchase as well as inmate communication with family. Last weekend, December 4-6 the kiosks were down making it impossible for the inmates to order any supplies or have contact with family. They finally resolved the issue on monday the 7th. On Friday the 11th the kiosks went down after a power surge but came right back up. Today December 12th, the kiosks have failed again and they are not able to find the problem. These people charge the families of the inmates $8.95 for every transaction they perform to help their loved one. But the inmates are not provided with the service. And no one can tell us why they are not working. This is very unprofessional as they are taking people's hard earned money, not to mention making profit off of what is deposited for the inmate, yet they fail to provide the services consistently that we are paying for.Desired Settlement: The desired out come of this is to be refunded the transaction fees charged to the families since they are failing to provide service, as well as reimbursement for the money that the families are having to put on their phones just to communicate with the inmates. In addition, the inmates should be given credit to their accounts for the inability to use the services that are basic rights.

I am very disappointed with this company's customer service and the manner in which the operate. I filed multiple complaints with Turnkey, I had documented proof of their failure to deliver services I paid for and was not given the credit I requested. I was lied to, given the run around by three employees and never was allowed to speak with a supervisor. When I asked for a supervisor the employee on the phone laughed at me and told me he just stepped out. Remarkably, everytime I called, the supervisor "just stepped out". I emailed the Vice President and my complaints were ignored. Unfortunately I am experiencing the same problem with them again and feel it is fruitless to report it, as I know from past dealings with them my issue will not be resolved. If able to I would not use their services but they are the only company that operates with institution my husband is housed at. I feel they exploit their customers because dispute how we are treated, if we want to communicate with our families we have to pay for their services.

Inmate has been in jail for close to a week now and is no where to be found in the system. What's the point of this site if you can't even use it. People will be released before even in the system. Two thumbs down. [redacted]

TurnKey Corrections handles InmateCanteen and they take advantage of incarcerated individuals and their families. They charge 8 dollars to deposit money on their accounts-8 dollars for their canteen account and 8 dollars for their communication account so essentially they get to double charge if you want to put money on both. In regards to their communication there are continual connection issues with it. Often you can see the inmate but not hear them or vice versa. And regardless of if the service is properly working your account gets charged without any way to address the situation. In regards to the Canteen, their prices are 4 to 5 times higher then fair market price. There are also issues with the Inmates getting what they ordered from the Canteen. Again there is no was to address the situation.
