Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Update: In January after I contacted the Revdex.com, I received a call and two emails from Turquoise and Pearls saying my “clothes were ready to be picked up”I went there and picked up out of the itemsThis is what I thought they were doing, holding on to my clothes to sell, but they wouldn’t have had to pay me for themThere was a new owner who had only been there a weekShe couldn’t find my seven remaining items (and her records “showed I had less than 20”)She admitted some were just lost and offered to pay 40% of whatever value for two of the items and the “check would be in the mail”I haven’t received a check of courseI don’t know if it’s the new owner’s problem or not; but I definitely got scammed out of my clothesI hope the new owner runs the business professionally and doesn’t steal people’s clothesIt’s not about the money or the clothes (I’m donating them anyway); it’s about running a business without cheating peopleAt this point I’m satisfied with a 65% return of my property; but I wanted you guys to know that they are or were stealing from customers for their profitAnyway, that’s the update [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

Per our conversation last week I am writing to let you know that *** *** picked up of the items she left with us that did not sell, including her Cashmere item and wool blend itemShe said she did not have time to look for her black print skirt or black pants. Her contract with us states "she is to locate and collect her items in the store." If needed we can provide the contract to you. She was originally told to come in on Tuesday and did not. The owner did have to close the store for a few days due to personal reasons but *** was called back when she missed coming in on Tuesday. We never donated any of her items. When she came in to pick up her clothes that we could not sell she insisted she gave us items but the receipt we gave her along with her contract says items. She signed the receipt and we gave her a carbon copy along with a copy of the contract. I asked if she had her copy with her and she said it was at home. I told her if she would bring it in we would be happy to go over it with her but it has to be exactly what we have since they were carbon copies. This was on January 26, and *** has not been back in with her receipt. To clear this matter up I did tell her we would pay her 40% of the two items she did not have time to look for which totals $5.99, this is not our standard practice. The check will be written on the 10th of the month and per her contract she will have to come into the store to pick it up. The contract also states that checks are good for days. Please let me know if you feel there is anything else we need to do to clear up this matter.Sincerely*** *** General ManagerTurquoise & Pearls

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Update: In January after I contacted the Revdex.com, I received a call and two emails from Turquoise and Pearls saying my “clothes were...

ready to be picked up”. I went there and picked up 13 out of the 20 items. This is what I thought they were doing, holding on to my clothes to sell, but they wouldn’t have had to pay me for them. There was a new owner who had only been there a week. She couldn’t find my seven remaining items (and her records “showed I had less than 20”). She admitted some were just lost and offered to pay 40% of whatever value for two of the items and the “check would be in the mail”. I haven’t received a check of course. I don’t know if it’s the new owner’s problem or not; but I definitely got scammed out of my clothes. I hope the new owner runs the business professionally and doesn’t steal people’s clothes. It’s not about the money or the clothes (I’m donating them anyway); it’s about running a business without cheating people. At this point I’m satisfied with a 65% return of my property; but I wanted you guys to know that they are or were stealing from customers for their profit. Anyway, that’s the update.  [redacted]
