"The owner’s vehicle was dropped off to repair a sideswipe down the driver’s side of the vehicle. She expressed concern that her brakes were making a weird noise and asked if we could check it out. Upon inspection we noticed the brakes were worn very badly and were probably the
original brakes that came with the car. *** did tell her the car was unsafe to drive in that condition and if she has a mechanic she should take it there right away.
