On June 12th, I spoke with my customer after I arrived at the store and was told of the complaint and what was sent outWhen Mr.M called again I took his callAt this time I explained that my designer had forgotten the bow and that we did not
have the filler shown but the order specifically states "Or as similar as possible"
At the time I offered to go back and get the flower to fix the problemHe refused and said he wanted his friend to keep the flowers and wanted his money backI then offered to make an adjustment to his billHe refused againAfter he refused me twice, I explained to him that if he wouldn't let me get the flowers to fix them or go get them if he wasn't satisfied and I would cancel the order I couldn't give him credit(It is standard practice in the floral industry to retrieve an order that has a problem and fix or replace it)Unfortunately there are people that make a practice of complaining in order to get something perishable for nothing and that is why we want to go and check on the problemThis was a web order and the national web site that has my store name attached to it as I am a member of the national wire service lists roses with filler and a bow at $plus $delivery and a $service fee for computer timeOur in house price for roses with greens is $plus tax and a $deliveryThe biggest problem with a national web site like this is that people don't realize it is virtually impossible to have every product and container that is shown at all times, especially for small town businessesEven large stores are going to have to substitute at timesBecause it was the fault of my designer that she forgot the bow, I am again offering to adjust the billI am willing to give a $credit if that would suffice

I accept and appreciate a $creditThis credit could have been offered verbally over the phone and this issue could have been resolvedIt was never offered initially by the business and I was given only one option to have the flowers picked up or nothing would be doneIt was rudely stated by the owner " well if you don't let us pick them up then there's nothing we can do"All I wanted was something in return for the lack of attention to detail for a returning CustomerThe $credit is acceptable
