I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I never drove away happy from that dealership! After two visits trying to get the job done right, [redacted] emailed me to be patient while they worked out a fix for the job Attached please see the emails from [redacted] dating back into July, 2016, where it is very clear that he led me to believe a solution was being worked out within the service department and he asked me to wait Also, please see the attached certified mail that was signed for by Steven Sodikoff, President of Steven Toyota On Feb 6, at 1:pm Right after he signed for that certified mail I got a phone call from a man who identified himself to me as Steven Sodikoff and he stated that he was calling me to discuss the certified mail that he recieved I had no reason to doubt his identity The identical letter was also sent by certified mail to Ms [redacted] , C.O.O was signed for at the front desk on Feb 8, at 1: [redacted] never contacted me, but she did get the letterThe wires need to be put in the bumper cup and the second plug needs to be installed for legal towing in the state of Virginia Right now the four pin is dangling where the safety chains are supposed to be hooked and the other plug is missing altogether I did not wait a year to bring this complaintI just brought it to the Revdex.com now after many other attempts at a solution have failed Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The work was never done to customer expectations and I never left happyIf I was ever confused it was because [redacted] lied to me on the phone about his identity leading me to believe I was actually talking to the owner of the business [redacted] must have also lied to the postal carrier as it was recorded as being signed for by the individual addressee I would like the owner, Steven Toyota and the Operating officer [redacted] to be aware of my complaint and to respond to my complaintThe wire that was installed was not installed in the bumper cup and the second wire is missing altogether Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, I have spoken to the customer and we met at the Car Wash I showed them proof that there was not a white truck in front of their vehicle We were able to pull transaction information from that day and the cars that went through the wash in front of them were not a white pitruck As a show of good faith we were able to buff out most of the scratches If any other information is needed please let me know Thanks, [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:When I initially called the Turtle Wax located at *** *** *** ** *** ** on December 5, 2015, I informed the Manager Joe *** that there were scratches on my car after it was washed thereHe immediately denied my claim before seeing the carHe did not investigate or ask any other employees during the phone conversationI informed him that there was a white pitruck with a rack in-front of my car and that this is how my car was scratched because of debris in the bed of the truckThis is not a No-Touch car wash and I was not expecting this to happenThe manager guaranteed me that there was (no way) 100% guarantee he could find out if a white pitruck with a rack was there on that day because he was not working the day in question and there are no cameras to prove what happenedThere was a Turtle Wax employee riding in my car on December 3, the day my car was washedI came back to the location on December 7, at the request of the manager Joe *** to correct the problem he denied that it happened there again I was not satisfied with the end result and the treatment that I receivedWe filled out a customer report form and I contacted corporate officeAfter Contacting corporate office and setting up an appointment for December 14,with Jim *** (area manager) MAGICALLY produced a list of cars that he SAID came through the car wash on December 3, in which I have no way to verify is factualHe stated that he would not do anything else to correct the problemI asked him why “he stated” that he would only consider moving forward with my claim if other customers complainedAs I stated to him this is a New car that it is only washed by me and it has never been through a car wash besides this occurrence at Turtle Wax The information is contradicting because the Store manager Joe *** states that he cannot verify what cars, trucks or even ask employees about the day in question December 3, But when I call the area manager he Magically has a list and stated that no truck were washed on December 3, the day in question in which makes me out to be a dishonest customerI do not believe Turtle wax represents what I have experienced at the Countryside LocationThe Area Manager was not willing to look at the before picturesHe only has the after pictures of the buffed Car that Joe *** had taken on December 7, and they did not do their best job because as he said it was as a courtesy to the customerThe Manager Joe *** and Area Manager Jim *** were not willing to correct the problem and instantly denied my claimAs a customer of Turtle Wax I am highly upset because of what happened and how I was treated and will not go back for any of the services that they offerThe end result as I stated to Jim *** was to correct the problem he did not attempt to rebuff the car or make sure I was satisfiedHe firmly stated that he will do nothing else and was 100% sure of thatIt is really hard to accept the area manager say 100% factual and he was not there and the manager was not there on December 3, They made it clear that more customers had to complain to validate any damage claim but also informed Jim *** it only takes one customer and just correct the problem.

I just wanted to share my experience with dealing with Turtle waxI filed a claim about there product ruining my carI have never bought a scratch repair kit before and I never will againthey wanted me to send in the product, pictures, get two estimates, and fill out a claim form to explain what happenThe company deals with *** *** to handle their claims and all they wanted to offer me was a dollars for the damages to my carThe damages are over hundred dollars never again will I buy any turtle wax productsI would not recommend to buy any products with them because if there is a problem they will just blame youA waste of time and effort to even fill out any forms

Hello in the interim this was resolved

To whom it may concern:   As you already know Mrs. [redacted] rejected my response.  There isn't a magical list of cars from that day.  Joe [redacted] is a new manager and at the time did not think of pulling a License Plate report for the vehicles that were in front of Mrs. [redacted] car.  Upon reviewing that report it is proven that there was not a white pickup truck with a rack in front of her car.  If needed that report can be provided.  Furthermore, we buffed out scratches that we did not cause as show of good faith.  We will not provide any more free services to Mrs. [redacted] or fix scratches to her vehicle that we did not cause.   Thanks,   Jim [redacted] | Area Manager Phone: [redacted]  | Email:  [redacted]
