Review: We booked tickets for our trip to Poland from Turysta Travel Services this past summer. We were traveling from Charlotte NC to Poland and had 2 connecting flights , one in NY (JFK) and the second in Berlin, Germany. The trouble started in Charlotte, NC, when they couldn't find my husband's reservation. In NY, we found out that his ticket from JFK to Berlin had been cancelled. Running back and forth between the airline officers for almost an hour, the problem was fixed. Unfortunately it occured again in Krakow, when my husband was heading back home. There was no ticket for the connecting flight from Berlin to JFK. It was solved again thanks to a very nice lady at the airport. However it cost lots of stress.The biggest surprise came when my 2 kids and I landed at the JFK airport after 9 hours on the plane from Berlin, already traveling for 12 hours, and we found out that our connecting flight to Charlotte, NC, was booked a month later (August ** instead of July **). To change the tickets it would cost an additional $1000. We already spent over $5000 to buy the tickets for the summer. I called [redacted] and asked for help and I was told that he is not the owner of the reservation and that I should have checked better when I got the tickets. At the airport I was told that only the agent can make the changes for free because it was his mistake. [redacted] left me without help. He wanted me to pay $400 per ticket (there were 3 of us) for the change. He wasn't willing to pay for his mistake. I had to rent a car and drive another 10 hours to NC. I tried to call the agent to ask him to cover at least the car rental and the gas expenses, but he avoided me and never picked up the phone when I called. I sent couple of e-mails and didn't get a response either. I tried again while visiting family in CT and this time he answered the phone. That tells me he was avoiding my phone calls seeing NC number on the caller ID. He said he was waiting for the airline respond and he would call me back. He never did.Desired Settlement: I want the agent to pay at least for the road trip from JFK to NC. The cost was $300 ( it includes car rental, gas, and food). I can provide receipts. Also, I would like to be reimbursed for the plane tickets we never used from JFK to Charlotte, NC
