Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The original notices given only introduced three new ways to pay and NEVER said anything about they were no longer accepting personal money ordersThe first time I got the notice, I still paid with a money order, I paid for the next two months WITH A MONEY ORDER and I was NEVER told that I could not pay with a money order againThis is the thing, if I was told that I could not pay with a money order again after this date, why would I continue to do it? That makes no senseWhy would someone be told no more money orders and, then pay with one? This is what I am saying and what I had told to Ms [redacted] the day this happened and; and explained to herShe plainly told me that a woman in the office named [redacted] was supposed to tell me but she continued taking them anyway for peopleI will repeat myself and say I WAS NEVER TOLD UNTIL THE DAY I WENT TO PAY MY RENT ON 10/03/THAT PERSONAL MONEY ORDERS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTEDThe paper attached that Ms [redacted] showed does not show the date that that paper was sent out because I have the same oneIt was 10/06/a whole THREE DAYS after this incident I have the original that I was given on 10/03/but is dated 10/02/and still does not out-rightly say that personal money orders will not be acceptedI brought my money order inWas told it was not acceptedHad to spend $to cash it in and then $to send itI have the receipts proving thisI DO NOT want any fees to follow this because I had the full amount and they refused to accept itThis is not fair Regards, [redacted] ***

Ms ***,
You I and spoke on the phone and you admitted to me that you had received both of the previous notices and knew that you were not to pay rent using a money orderYou attached the 2nd page of the most recent notice, however, you did not attach the 1st page that clearly states that we no longer accept money ordersThe previous notices that were given said the same thingI even have emails from other residents about them from several months agoYou told me on the phone that you knew about this but that the money orders were only $and that is why you continued to use themI am very confused as to why you are stating that you never knew this before when you admitted to me that you did knowYou did not pay your balance in full for October's rent and that will need to be paidThis is a company wide policy and you had months of previous notifications to make the changeAgain, this is not my personal policy...it is company wide and everyone has to complyNo money orders are accepted for rental payments

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The apartment complex never once sent a notice claiming they were no longer accepting money ordersThey only decided to send a notice the day after the incident and inform everyone of this decisionThere are multiple people who were unaware of this situation, it must be so because if everyone knew then why would they feel a need to inform everyone that they were no longer accepting money ordersI have uploaded the documents as proof of thisThey introduced new ways to pay and said nothing to the fact that they were cancelling personal money order and NOT to use them anymoreThis statement and that wording was never used and leads one to be easily confusedI dont know how they cant see thatI had to drive around cash money orders, and turn them into another service with funds I did not have! This is an income restricted property why make it so difficult and cost so much?
I want no penalties or fees on my part as I was not given proper notice nor proper time to know that they would not accept the personal money orderNo late fee deduction as it was a SaturdayAnd no rent deduction as the amount was under $or so because I had to turn in the money orders in another way.
The bathroom issue is being fixed however; if there were parts to be ordered and its been weeks now why was I not informed of this? Instead of the partial hole in my wall sitting there? Too easy to tell someone thisThe maintenance man simply said he would returnHe did this morning10/27/about weeks after he initially "fixed" it.
As for the neighbors I keep getting told to call the copsI did on 10/25/and complained of the arguing noiseThey can look that upThe complaint I have with the people in is they keep moving furniture around during the hours of 9pm to 2amThey dont pick it upThey slide the heavy furniture across the floorRepeatedlyI have asked them to stopThey are making my kitchen light blink on and offThe sound id distracting and interrupts the quiet enjoyment of my spaceI would like for it to stopI can call everyday and record the noise if they likeI have done so before.
I have attached the said documents of my proofAll I want is for the apartment to not charge me any fees and to drop whatever is left over from my paymentAs I tried to pay them and they didnt accept my personal money orderAlso, to inform the people upstairs that their racket is creating an intolerable living condition to those around them.

This apartment complex is horrible! The people that work in the office never answer the phone, they take an hour and mins- hour lunch everday and never respond to the voicemails I leave them! The apartments themselves are cheaply made, the walls are paper thin, the applicances brake every few weeks and the mantance guy has no idea how to fix any of them! I can't wait till my lease is up so I can get out of here!

Ms [redacted], You I and spoke on the phone and you admitted to me that you had received both of the previous notices and knew that you were not to pay rent using a money order. You attached the 2nd page of the most recent notice, however, you did not attach the 1st page that clearly states that we no longer accept money orders. The 2 previous notices that were given said the same thing. I even have emails from other residents about them from several months ago. You told me on the phone that you knew about this but that the money orders were only $.68 and that is why you continued to use them. I am very confused as to why you are stating that you never knew this before when you admitted to me that you did know. You did not pay your balance in full for October's rent and that will need to be paid. This is a company wide policy and you had months of previous notifications to make the change. Again, this is not my personal policy...it is company wide and everyone has to comply. No money orders are accepted for rental payments. Thank you,[redacted]

My name is [redacted] and I am the General Manager of Tuscany Park apartments in Buda. We sent out notices twice over the past several months explaining to our residents that our company would no longer accept money orders for rent payments. Ms. [redacted] knew about this and chose not to comply....

Our residents were given several other options to pay rent. Personal check, money gram, cashier's check and our on-line system. I personally spoke to Ms. [redacted] and she admitted that she did receive her notices and chose to continue to pay with money orders until someone finally refused them in our office. The other residents at Tuscany Park, as well as, all apartment communities managed by Capstone Management abide by these same policies. Ms. [redacted] knew that she was not to pay rent with money orders and continued to do so after to notices were given to her and all the other residents. We will not transfer Ms. [redacted] because a transfer does not guarantee that she will not hear noises from neighboring apartments. However, the neighbor above her was notified of her compliant and is not sure what it is that she is hearing. I will speak to her neighbor again about this issue. The compliant about her bathroom has been addressed. A part was ordered and installed. Her sheetrock repair has been scheduled. The laundry room was painted and new ceiling fans installed months ago. The machines are not the property of Tuscany Park. They are provided by Coinmach. They are not new machines, however, they are in working condition. If a problem arises with a machine, we notify Coinmach to complete the repair. The laundry room is inspected daily to check for any trash or items that needs to be cleaned or removed.I am not sure why Ms. [redacted] filed a compliant with Revdex.com when her questions and concerns have already been addressed.Thank you,[redacted]

It was 10/06/15 a whole THREE DAYS after this incident.  I have the original that I was given on 10/03/15 but is dated 10/02/15 and still does not out-rightly say that personal money orders will not be accepted. I brought my money order in. Was told it was not accepted. Had to spend $6 to cash it in and then $1.99 to send it. I have the receipts proving this. I DO NOT want any fees to follow this because I had the full amount and they refused to accept it. This is not fair.
