Tell us why here...Response to ID# [redacted] The customer referenced under ID# [redacted] was notified by mail in that there was a Service Campaign regarding the dashboard on her Lexus RX The notification asked the impacted parties to visit their closest Lexus dealership, have a vehicle inspection and they would be added to a list for the appropriate parts The notification further stated that the parts would be available according to the order of the list and that this Campaign could take up to a year to complete as parts are being allocated to the dealerships as they become available The customer did come into the delaership 1/4/and her name was added to the list, she also visited again on 4/24/where her name was added again On 6/when she came in again to the delaership there was some confusion as to where her name was on the list due to the earlier visits That confusion was resolved and her name is on the list with the first visit date of 1/4/ On the 6/visit the customer asked for additional documentation regarding the Service Campaign and was instructed to call Lexus headquaters are all correspondance was issued by them As of this date the customer is still on the list for the appropriate parts and will be notified as soon as the parts are sent to the dealership Tustin Lexus has no control over how soon those parts will arrive as this is a National Campaign and a number of vehicles, across the country were affected

My complain is that they (the dealership) lured us into financing the car rather than letting us pay cash for the vehicle. By having financed it, the dealership wins, the finance company wins, and the buyer ends up paying more. I am asking for the finance fees reimbursed in full

The customer signed a Retail Installment Sale Contract - Simple Finance Charge (553-CA-ARB).  The finance charge amount on the contract, $2457.83, is an estimate of what the customer would have paid, in total fiance charges, only if the...

customer made all scheduled payments for the term of the loan.  If the loan is paid off, before the completion of the term stated on the contract, then the customer is only responsible for the finance charge for the months the loan is carried.

The customer referenced under ID#[redacted] was notified by mail in 2015 that there was a Service Campaign regarding the dashboard on her Lexus RX330.  The notification asked the impacted parties to visit their closest Lexus dealership, have a vehicle...

inspection and they would be added to a list for the appropriate parts.  The notification further stated that the parts would be available according to the order of the list and that this Campaign could take up to a year to complete as parts are being allocated to the dealerships as they become available.
The customer did come into the delaership 1/4/16 and her name was added to the list, she also visited again on 4/24/16 where her name was added again.  On 6/22 when she came in again to the delaership there was some confusion as to where her name was on the list due to the 2 earlier visits.  That confusion was resolved and her name is on the list with the first visit date of 1/4/16.

Tustin Lexus does not force or lure customers into signing Finance Contracts as we receive our funds whether the customer pays cash, has a credit union finance the vehicle or the customer decides to lease or purchase thru another financial institution.  The customer has the option to pay off the contract today, tomorrow or whenever they choose.  The sooner they pay off the contract the less the finance fees will be, as the estimate on the contract is what the customer would pay if they made each scheduled payment for the term of the loan.
Tustin Lexus will not reimburse any finance fees.
