I contacted Tutor Doctor late in the school year because my son was having difficutlty in honors pre-calculus second semester. He had been going in for extra help from the teacher, but this was not truly helping. He was not entirely in agreement with trying a tutor. However, he did agree and it was a very positive experience. Tutor Doctor was able to match a tutor with my sons needs on very short notice. The tutor asked good questions in advance so she was able to be prepared and hit the ground running. She checked the teachers website, knew the text book & math program, reviewed my son's test scores to date. She was a good fit, very professional, easy for both my son and me to talk with and was flexible with scheduling around his sports.
We contacted Tutor Doctor to get help in Math and Spanish. The owner was great. Quick to respond, asked the right questions and matched us up with a Math major that spoke Spanish. Our daughter really liked this tutor and we were off to a great start with her grades improving in both areas. Unfortunately, this tutor fell ill and we needed to find a replacement. All of us didn't feel good about this, but gave it a try. Again, the owner was quick to respond and found a match for us - this time two tutors, one in Spanish and one in Math. Both tutors are amazing - they prepare ahead of time, can explain the subject matter in an easy way and have met our daughters needs. We are very pleased with Tutor Doctor. We love how the tutor comes to us, when we need one.
